Booker rushed for one yard on three carries and added 10 yards on two catches in Sunday's loss to Tennessee.
EDGE Analysis
The Broncos just about completely abandoned the run in Sunday's losing effort, with just nine total carries. Newcomer Justin Forsett, a veteran of Gary Kubiak's scheme, collected six of them. Kubiak has provided mixed reviews of Booker's performance and it seems as though the rookie is in position to take a back seat to Forsett. Given that he's averaged just 2.4 yards per carry since becoming the starter in Week 8, a return to a supporting role may be what's best for the Utah product.

Broncos coach Gary Kubiak expects the newly-acquired Justin Forsett to have a role in the offense Week 14 against Tennessee, which could affect the workload of Booker, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.
EDGE Analysis
Booker has been the lead back in Denver since C.J. Anderson went down with a knee injury, but the 24-year-old rookie has yet to see the full potential of this opportunity. He averaged a meager 1.9 YPC in Week 13, though a touchdown did save Booker's fantasy day. On the season, he owns a 3.5 YPC average and has yet to record a 100-yard rushing performance. With former backup Kapri Bibbs (ankle) landing on IR, the Broncos chose to go out and sign veteran Justin Forsett -- a back that is familiar with coach Kubiak and his offensive scheme. Kubiak believes Forsett can eventually "split" time with Booker, and even went as far as to compare Forsett's prospective role with that of Bibbs prior to the injury. Bibbs had tallied 21 combined carries over the last three weeks, and although a similar workload for Forsett wouldn't signify an exact timeshare, it's potentially enough to no longer consider Booker the bell cow in Denver. Only time will tell the exact distribution, though Forsett is expected to be active in upcoming week.

Booker rushed for 35 yards and a score on 18 carries in Sunday's win over the Jaguars. He added a two-yard catch during the game.
EDGE Analysis
Booker plunged in the end zone for the Broncos' lone offensive touchdown in the second quarter, but was stymied for the most part through the rest of the game. Booker has now failed to reach 3.5 yards per carry in any of the five games since C.J. Anderson went out with an injury. The offensive line is at least partly to blame, but if Kapri Bibbs continues to show some sizzle as a change-of-pace back, it may soon be Booker filling the change-of-pace role

Booker carried 24 times for 79 yards and caught one of his two targets for an additional 22 yards in Sunday's 30-27 loss to the Chiefs.
EDGE Analysis
Booker found the sledding tough against a ferocious Chiefs defensive unit, but the sheer volume of his touches and a nice reception in overtime allowed him to grind out serviceable fantasy results. He has been a workhorse out of the backfield since Week 8, but is averaging just three yards per carry in 77 totes in that time. Booker will look to generate yardage more efficiently next week against a lackluster Jaguars run defense.

Booker rushed for 76 yards on 24 carries and added two catches for 12 yards in Sunday's win over New Orleans.
EDGE Analysis
Booker showed some ability to move the chains for Denver's running game, particularly early in the game, but that evaporated rather quickly. Booker was held to no or negative yardage on five carries on Sunday, all of them in the second half. Booker's afternoon can be illustrated on Denver's first drive of the second half. He slashed for a nine-yard gain on first and 10, and then was stopped at the line on two consecutive carries. The rookie doesn't have much competition in an inexperienced backfield without C.J. Anderson, but if Booker can't convert seconds and thirds and short with any level of regularity, something will have to give in Mile High.

Booker is slated to start at running back Sunday against the Saints, but Kapri Bibbs could receive an increased share of the team's backfield work following his strong effort last weekend, the Denver Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
With fellow running back Juwan Thompson inactive, Booker and Bibbs will form a one-two backfield punch Sunday, a scenario that should result in Booker, as the lead back, seeing enough touches to maintain fantasy utility. Meanwhile, Bibbs could see enough work to merit a Week 10 fantasy dart for those scrambling for running back help.

Booker was contained during Sunday's 30-20 loss in Oakland, recording 10 rushes for 22 yards and hauling in one of three passes for eight yards.
EDGE Analysis
Displaying game-breaking ability behind C.J. Anderson at the outset of the season, Booker was a prime candidate to prosper from the additional reps afforded due to the former's meniscus tear. During his first career start in Week 8, though, Booker missed a portion of the contest due to a shoulder injury, which proceeded to limit his practice reps before Friday's full showing. In back-to-back starts, he's now averaged just 2.6 yards per carry and 6.3 yards per reception, paving the way for his backup (Kapri Bibbs) to burst onto the scene Sunday. Late in the fourth quarter, Bibbs turned a pass behind the line into the Broncos' longest play from scrimmage, scampering through the Raiders' defense for a 69-yard touchdown. On Monday, head coach Gary Kubiak told Cameron Wolfe of The Denver Post that Bibbs has earned more touches, which (at the very least) could remove Booker from the field in obvious passing downs.

Booker (shoulder) does not have an injury designation after fully practicing Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Booker was limited prior to Friday's full session, but that increase in activity was enough to clear him from the Broncos' injury report ahead of Sunday night's showdown with the Raiders. As a result, Booker will be available to make his second career start this weekend versus an Oakland team currently ranked third-worst in total defense.

EDGE Analysis
More on Booker's status Friday, but we'll have to see if the Broncos' new top RB ends up drawing an official questionable designation for Sunday night's game against the Raiders, or is removed from the team's Week 9 injury report altogether.

Booker (shoulder was limited at practice Wednesday, the Denver Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Booker injured his shoulder on the first series of this past Sunday's win over the Chargers, but ended up playing through the pain, en route to logging 54 out of a possible 65 snaps on offense, while carrying 19 times for 54 yards and a TD. His status is worth monitoring as the week rolls along, but expect him to continue to head the Denver backfield in Week 9's game against the Raiders, an 8:30 ET kickoff Sunday night.
