Daniel Thomas (hamstring, questionable) will be a game-time decision in Week 9. Thomas was "limited" throughout the practice week. He was also "limited" last Thursday and Friday before being deactivated against the Giants. We won't have a good handle on Thomas' availability for this week's matchup with the Chiefs until Sunday morning. Reggie Bush would get the start if Thomas can't go.

Daniel Thomas (hamstring) is "optimistic" he'll be available for Week 9 after practicing for the second straight day Thursday. However, the Miami Herald's Armando Salguero reports the Dolphins remain "worried" about Thomas' status. Thomas will likely be questionable on Friday's injury report, but should be considered a game-time decision after his surprising Week 8 deactivation. If he ends up missing his second straight game, Reggie Bush should easily lead the Dolphins in touches against Kansas City's 22nd ranked run defense, though Steve Slaton and perhaps Lex Hilliard will be mixed in.

Daniel Thomas (hamstring) returned to practice Wednesday. Thomas' return was reported by the South Florida Sun-Sentinel's Omar Kelly, who also wrote that the rookie "sat out all of last week's practices." That's incorrect; Thomas was limited last Thursday and Friday after sitting out practice on Wednesday. His Week 9 status remains unknown.

Coach Tony Sparano said he's not frustrated with Daniel Thomas. There's no word yet on Thomas' hamstring injury, but Thomas figures to get plenty of chances whenever he's on the field. "Well, I'm not frustrated because of the reward you get when he plays," Sparano said. "When this guy plays, he plays at a pretty high level, and he makes a bunch of yards." We'll have an update on Thomas' status after Wednesday's practice.

Daniel Thomas (hamstring, questionable) was limited in Dolphins practice Friday. The Dolphins have been listing Thomas as "questionable" for several weeks now, but he's been playing. He's a low-end RB2 option Sunday against the G-Men.

Daniel Thomas (hamstring) returned to Dolphins practice Thursday. This confirms that Thomas did not suffer a setback in Sunday's loss to the Broncos. Although his hamstring clearly isn't 100 percent, it will likely be strong enough for him to play this week. Thomas is averaging just 2.94 yards per carry in his last two games, leaving him as an unexciting RB2 against the Giants.

Daniel Thomas (hamstring) was held out of Dolphins practice Wednesday. Thomas is not believed to have suffered further injury in his disappointing effort against the Broncos on Sunday, but his absence today is a concern after he was able to practice on a limited basis all last week. There have been no other indications he'll be inactive against the Giants this weekend, but going back to the preseason, Thomas has struggled to produce when at less than 100 percent health. He needs to turn in full practices the next two days to be started with confidence this weekend.

Daniel Thomas is active for Week 7 against the Broncos. The Dolphins' actives are RB Steve Slaton, DE Phillip Merling, OL Ike Ndukwe, OT Will Barker, OL Ryan Cook, and TE Will Yeatman. Thomas will get the start against Denver's bottom-ten run defense and is a recommended RB2 this week.

Daniel Thomas (questionable, hamstring) was limited in Dolphins practice for a third straight day Friday. Thomas has been playing through "questionable" tags for several weeks now, so at this point we fully expect him to be active against the Broncos. We'll know for sure early Sunday because Denver-Miami has a 1ET start. Thomas is averaging over 20 touches per game in his last three appearances.
