This allowed Thomas to double his carries over the previous week, but we saw nothing to suggest that he has increased his role going forward. Reggie Bush ran just as effectively today with 22 carries for 100 yards.

Thomas won't be a recommended play against the Bills next week.

He still won't be a fantasy option until we see Thomas' role grow in a game setting. He got seven Week 10 touches, while starter Reggie Bush touched the football 16 times.

The Palm Beach Post expects Daniel Thomas and Reggie Bush to "split time" in the Dolphins' backfield on Sunday. We still have serious reservations about Bush as anything more than a change-of-pace back long term, but there's little doubt that he at least earned a greater Week 9 role after Sunday's 120-total yard effort against the Giants. The Dolphins' starting tailback remains uncertain. Thomas and Bush appear headed for a true timeshare in Sunday's game against the Chiefs.

Thomas owners will want to watch for any gameday setbacks, but players that travel are usually good to go. Reggie Bush's workload takes a good hit with this news, making him a borderline RB2/flex option in PPR leagues.
