Conley caught both of his targets for 27 yards in Sunday's 37-21 win over Jacksonville.
EDGE Analysis
In terms of playing time, Conley (40 snaps) and rookie Nico Collins (43) emerged as the most prominent wide receivers behind Brandin Cooks, but it was the recently signed Danny Amendola (five targets, one TD) that made the biggest impact (in 17 snaps) among Houston's second-tier receivers. How that dynamic changes when/if Anthony Miller (inactive, coach's decision) is active is an open question. Houston was able to dictate the game as it wanted due to a large early lead, which means relying on the ground game more than throwing the ball. But things may not always be as easy for them as it was Week 1, which will mean more chances for guys like Conley.

Conley failed to bring in any of his three targets during the Texans' 20-14 preseason win over the Cowboys on Saturday night.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran wideout's quiet night was in stark contrast to his four-catch, 51-yard effort in the exhibition opener against the Packers a week prior. Despite the empty stat line Saturday, Conley will head into the regular season as the No. 2 receiver alongside top option Brandin Cooks.

Conley caught all four of his targets for 51 yards in Saturday's preseason win over the Packers.
EDGE Analysis
Three of those grabs came on Tyrod Taylor's only series of the night, as the potential Week 1 starter at quarterback made Conley his favorite target during the Texans' opening possession. The 28-year-old landed in Houston on a one-year deal after stints in Kansas City and Jacksonville and has had only intermittent success in his NFL career, but he could be a better fit for a conservative offensive game plan under Taylor than field stretcher Brandin Cooks, the other presumed starting WR for the Texans.

Conley is listed atop the unofficial depth chart at one wide receiver position, Brooks Kubena of the Houston Chronicle reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Texans had several surprises on the depth chart, but Conley lining opposite Brandin Cooks was not one of them. He's been getting reps with starting quarterback Tyrod Taylor during camp and earned this slot. The big surprise at wide receiver is Nico Collins, who was presumed to be competing with Conley, listed at sixth on the Cooks' branch of the depth chart.

Conley and rookie Nico Collins have been given ample reps with presumed starting quarterback Tyrod Taylor, Aaron Reiss of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Collins has been the breakout star in camp early on, but the veteran Conley should be seen as a bona fide candidate to start at wideout opposite Brandin Cooks. The Texans traded up to get Collins in this year's draft, and he may eventually become a top-three target for Taylor, but Conley may be the one who starts Week 1 against Jacksonville.

Conley is signing a one-year deal with Houston, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Texans clearly have a type this offseason, targeting a slew of veterans who have experience as starters but arguably fit better as backups. Conley averaged 23.4 yards per game in four seasons with the Chiefs, followed by 40.2 yards per game in two seasons with the Jaguars. He'll likely land somewhere between third and fifth on the WR depth chart when the dust settles in Houston this summer.

Conley brought in seven of nine targets for 87 yards in the Jaguars' 28-14 loss to the Colts on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran paced the Jaguars in receptions, receiving yards and targets while setting new season highs in the latter two categories. Conley put together a second straight solid campaign as a complementary option in Jacksonville's passing attack, reaching the 40-catch mark for the second time in as as many seasons as a Jaguar and third time overall in his career. The six-year pro is now slated to head into unrestricted free agency this offseason, although it remains to be seen if new team management will be interested in bringing him back into the fold.

Conley caught all three targets for 27 yards during Sunday's 41-17 loss to Chicago.
EDGE Analysis
The 28-year-old played 49 percent of the offensive snaps and surpassed his production from the previous three games combined with Collin Johnson (hamstring) sidelined. Conley could serve as Jacksonville's No. 4 wideout again in the season finale if Johnson remains unavailable.

Conley caught one of three targets for a 13-yard touchdown during Sunday's 40-14 loss at Baltimore.
EDGE Analysis
Conley secured his second touchdown of the season in the final minutes of the fourth quarter as he continues to play a minor role in Jacksonville's aerial attack. The 28-year-old could see that role grow slightly if No. 4 wideout Collin Johnson (hamstring) is forced to miss time.

Conley wasn't targeted during Sunday's 31-10 loss to Tennessee.
EDGE Analysis
The 28-year-old played only nine offensive snaps despite the Jaguars trailing all afternoon, and he wasn't targeted on any of the 54 pass attempts from Mike Glennon and Gardner Minshew. Rookie Collin Johnson continues to operate as Jacksonville's No. 4 wide receiver, leaving Conley to play a handful of snaps each week.
