Edmonds carried the ball 18 times for 53 yards and caught five of six targets for 29 yards in Sunday's 25-22 win over the Cowboys.
EDGE Analysis
Despite the fact he once again didn't have to share the backfield touches with James Conner (heel), Edmonds wasn't able to come close to matching the 127 scrimmage yards and a TD he put up against the Colts the week before. His workload, and his production, in Week 18 against the Seahawks will depend largely on whether Conner is able to return to the lineup.

Edmonds will be the Cardinals' primary running back for Sunday's game in Dallas with James Conner (heel) sidelined, Darren Urban of the team's official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Taking on the mantle of unquestioned No.1 running back Week 16 versus the Colts with Conner not available for that contest, Edmonds handled 24 touches and turned them into 127 yards from scrimmage and one TD. Edmonds should be poised for a similar workload versus Dallas' 12th-ranked run defense (109.5 yards per game).

Edmonds (back) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game in Dallas, while backfield mate James Conner (heel) is listed as questionable, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Conner returned to practice Friday in a limited capacity, hoping to gut it out after Edmonds erupted for 127 total yards on 92 percent snap share in last week's 22-16 loss to the Colts. It is possible Conner has a smaller-than-usual role even if he's active, but that'll be tough to count on for those with a tough lineup decision between Edmonds and another running back(s). Most of those decisions swing towards Edmonds if Conner is out again, while the matchup with Dallas starts to look awfully daunting with the prospect of a timeshare added. Conner could be a game-time decision ahead of the 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff Sunday.

Edmonds (back) practiced on a limited basis Thursday, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Both of the Cardinals' top running backs are at less than 100 percent health at the moment, but Edmonds at least has been able to log some on-field work this week. On the other hand, James Conner (heel) was listed as a non-participant on a fifth straight practice report and may be poised for a second consecutive absence Sunday in Dallas. If that comes to pass, Edmonds again would be Arizona's unquestioned No. 1 RB -- assuming he's active -- which translated to 24 touches for 127 yards from scrimmage and one TD this past Saturday versus the Colts.

Edmonds was limited by a back injury at Wednesday's practice, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
After missing four games due to a high-ankle sprain, Edmonds returned to action Week 15 in Detroit, handling a 40 percent snap share on his way to six carries. With James Conner (heel) out of the lineup entirely this past Saturday against the Colts, Edmonds took on a whopping 92 percent of snaps on his way to 24 touches for 127 yards from scrimmage and one TD. Conner wasn't able to practice Wednesday and is set up to be a game-time decision again Week 17 at Dallas, so the healthier Edmonds could be poised for another outing with significant volume, even if the former is able to suit up Sunday.

Edmonds tallied 16 carries for 56 yards and one touchdown and gathered in eight of nine targets for 71 yards during Saturday's 22-16 defeat to the Colts.
EDGE Analysis
With James Conner unable to play through a heel injury, Edmonds was thrust into a major role out of the Cardinals backfield, earning his highest touch count of the season. The result was Edmonds' third outing of the campaign with at least 100 yards from scrimmage, but it was his first since Week 4. Additionally, he visited the end zone for just the second time through 11 appearances. His week-to-week usage likely depends on the availability of Conner, but as long as the latter is banged up Edmonds should be in line for a larger share of the RB reps.

Edmonds (ankle) rushed six times for 53 yards and failed to catch his lone target in Sunday's 30-12 loss to Detroit.
EDGE Analysis
Edmonds was productive on a per-touch basis in his first action since Week 9, but neither he nor James Conner (70 scrimmage yards on 10 touches) were fed the ball much as the Cardinals surprisingly spent the entire game fruitlessly attempting to play catch-up. Conner thrived while Edmonds was out and will likely see the majority of touches in Week 16 against the Colts, but don't be too quick to write Edmonds off given his robust 5.9 yards per carry this season.

The Cardinals activated Edmonds (ankle) from injured reserve Saturday, Darren Urban of the team's official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Arizona designated Edmonds for return prior to a Week 14 matchup with the Rams but ultimately didn't bring him back to the active roster. Now, after the fourth-year pro has a week of on-field reps under his belt, including running routes at Friday's session, he'll rejoin James Conner (ankle) at the top of the backfield pecking order. The Cardinals may not place a heavy burden on Edmonds off the bat, but Conner likely will yield at least a handful of the 20.8 touches per game he handled during the former's four-game absence.

Edmonds (ankle) is running routes at Friday's practice and looks healthy, according to Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com.
EDGE Analysis
Edmonds is closing in on a return after four consecutive missed games, while James Conner is now dealing with an ankle injury of his own, though the 230-pounder did return to practice Friday. Unlike his teammate, Edmonds won't be listed on the practice/injury report this week, as he's technically still on IR (with a designation to return). The Cardinals need to move Edmonds to the active roster by Saturday afternoon to have him available for Sunday's game in Detroit.

The Cardinals didn't activate Edmonds (ankle) off injured reserve, meaning he'll remain out for Monday's game against the Rams, Darren Uban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
The 25-year-old unofficially was a game-time decision for Monday's contest and will end up missing his fourth consecutive game. Edmonds was designated to return from injured reserve Dec. 9, so there's still over two weeks remaining in his 21-day practice window during which he can be activated. James Conner will continue to lead Arizona's backfield in Monday's divisional matchup, while Eno Benjamin works in a secondary role.
