Edmonds (shoulder) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the 49ers.
EDGE Analysis
After being limited in the Cardinals' first two Week 9 practices due to the shoulder issue, Edmonds received the green light for Sunday after practicing in full Friday. Meanwhile, the two most important members of the Cardinals' passing attack -- quarterback Kyler Murray (ankle) and wideout DeAndre Hopkins (hamstring) -- are listed as questionable after failing to practice in any fashion, with head coach Kliff Kingsbury terming both as game-day decisions leading up to the 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff. The potential absence of Murray in particular could prompt Kingsbury to opt for a more run-heavy approach Sunday, which could translate to more touches for Edmonds and James Conner out of the backfield.

Edmonds (shoulder) logged a limited practice Thursday, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Edmonds is operating under a cap on his reps this week, likely due to the play in which he left last Thursday's game against the Packers in discomfort after getting tackled. He stayed in the contest and ended up with a 59 percent snap share and 10 touches. Meanwhile, backfield mate James Conner rang in with 37 and five, respectively. If Edmonds' health remains a concern heading into the weekend, there's a chance he could be the player to take a backseat at running back. Still, it's difficult to project the Edmonds-Conner breakdown, especially with a 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff on tap Sunday in San Francisco.

Edmonds was limited at Wednesday's practice due to a shoulder injury, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Edmonds left last Thursday's eventual loss to the Packers after a six-yard run early in the fourth quarter, but he was back on the field three plays later and finished out the game. He paced Cardinals runnings backs with 59 percent snap share and 10 touches, while James Conner received 37 percent and five touches. Such a breakdown has been the norm for this backfield this season, but it'll be interesting to see if Edmonds' injury will result in role reversals for the two, as happened back in Week 6 (Edmonds had 36 percent, and Conner handled 54 percent of plays).

Edmonds rushed seven times for 30 yards and a touchdown and brought in three of four targets for 39 yards in the Cardinals' 24-21 loss to the Packers on Thursday night.
EDGE Analysis
Edmonds and backfield mate James Conner both saw their rushing opportunities curtailed due to an unexpected game script that saw the Cardinals trail from the first quarter on. However, the fourth-year back still found a way to make an impact for fantasy managers with an 11-yard touchdown run in the first quarter that opened the scoring on the night. The scamper was Edmond's first visit to the end zone of the season, and he also notably got back to logging multiple receptions after seeing a six-game season-opening streak of such tallies snapped in Week 7. Edmonds will perhaps see a bigger overall workload in a Week 9 road matchup against the 49ers a week from Sunday.

Edmonds carried the ball 15 times for 81 yards and caught one of three targets for nine yards in Sunday's 31-5 win over the Texans.
EDGE Analysis
He was Arizona's leading rusher on the afternoon, although James Conner was also productive with 64 rushing yards and a TD. Edmonds is still looking for his first score of the year, but he's collected at least 75 scrimmage yards in five of seven games heading into a Week 8 clash with the Packers.

Edmonds (shoulder) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against Houston, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Edmonds even closed out the practice week as a full participant after being limited throughout October. The Cardinals may have enough strength to keep both Edmonds and James Conner happy this Sunday against the one-win Texans.

Edmonds (shoulder) practiced in a limited capacity Thursday, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Edmonds has been a productive member of the Cardinals' sixth-ranked run offense this season and aided in the team's fourth-ranked scoring offense. But he's tending to a shoulder injury for a third straight week, which has contributed to his two lowest yards from scrimmage tallies of the season in Weeks 5 and 6 (16 combined touches for a combined 84 total yards). Edmonds may enter the weekend with a designation next to his name, but considering he hasn't missed any games to date he should be out there Sunday against the Texans as the 1A runner for Arizona with 1B James Conner.

Edmonds (shoulder) was a limited participant at practice Wednesday, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Edmonds continues to have his practice reps capped for a third week in a row. During his last two appearances, he tallied 10 carries for 61 yards and gathered in six of eight targets for 23 yards, and in Week 6 he managed just a 36 percent share of the Cardinals' offensive snaps. In the same time span, James Conner got the larger share of the work, turning 28 touches into 108 yards from scrimmage and one touchdown. As long as Edmonds is injured, he may be forced to play second fiddle to Conner.

Edmonds turned four carries into 46 yards and three catches (on four targets) into four yards during Sunday's 37-14 win at Cleveland.
EDGE Analysis
Edmonds' first touch of the game was a 40-yard run on the Cardinals' initial possession. Thereafter, they were sporadic, with none of the six coming after halftime. Part of that was due to game flow, with Arizona sporting a lead of double-digit points from the 4:30 mark of the first quarter for the rest of the contest. With that reality, the team went with a grinder in James Conner to eat clock. On top of that, Edmonds has dealt with a shoulder injury for the past two weeks, so it's no surprise he was held to a season-low snap share (36 percent) and touch count. Assuming he's healthier this weekend, he should take on the larger share of offensive plays over Conner on Sunday against the Texans.

EDGE Analysis
Despite having practice limitations for a second week in a row, Edmonds will be available to the Cardinals offense Week 6. He continues to get the better end of offensive snaps over fellow running back James Conner, earning at least 60 percent in all five games while the latter has topped out at 48 percent twice. The result has been 72 touches for 429 yards from scrimmage and no TDs for Edmonds, while Conner has received 67 touches for 235 total yards and five scores.
