Edmonds (shoulder), who is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Browns, is expected to play, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
Edmonds was limited at practice all week, but he looks like he'll be able to work through his shoulder issue Sunday and continue to share backfield work with James Conner. Confirmation of Edmonds' Week 6 status will arrive upon the release of the Cardinals' inactive list approximately 90 minutes prior to the game's 4:05 p.m. ET kickoff.

Edmonds (shoulder) is listed as questionable for Sunday's contest in Cleveland, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
For a second straight week, Edmonds' practice reps were capped due to a shoulder issue. He was considered a game-time call for last Sunday's game against the 49ers, but he suited up and played a typical 60 percent of the offensive snaps on his way to nine touches for 34 total yards. Backup James Conner also logged a normal snap share (48 percent), turning 11 touches into 37 yards and one TD. A cloud continues to hang over Edmonds' availability, which won't be known until 90 minutes before Sunday's 4:05 p.m. ET kickoff. If he's available, Edmonds likely will work in a similar 1A-1B situation with Conner to the Week 5 breakdown.

Edmonds (shoulder) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
The shoulder issue resulted in Edmonds being labeled as a game-time decision ahead of the Cardinals' Week 5 matchup with the 49ers, but he proceeded to suit up in the team's victory, albeit while seeing a season-low six carries in the contest. Edmonds looks to be in better health heading into Sunday's game in Cleveland, as he's already turned in a pair of limited practices after managing only one limited session Week 5. The Cardinals will see if he can upgrade to full activity Friday, which would likely allow Edmonds to enter the weekend without an injury designation.

Edmonds (shoulder) practiced in a limited fashion Wednesday, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Edmonds logged a typical 60 percent of the offensive snaps (37 of 61) this past Sunday against the 49ers, but he easily had his worst statistical performance of the season (six carries for 15 yards, three catches for 19 yards on four targets). At the same time, fellow back James Conner drew 11 touches for 37 total yards and one TD on a 48 percent snap share. Edmonds tended to a hamstring issue last week, so his current shoulder concern will be one to monitor as the weekend draws closer.

Edmonds (hamstring) ran for 15 yards on six carries against San Francisco on Sunday, adding three receptions for 19 yards on four targets.
EDGE Analysis
Between the hamstring and the tough matchup with a Fred Warner-anchored defense, there was a lot working against Edmonds on Sunday, and that's before mentioning the team's meager 17 points against the 49ers. Edmonds is a crucial part of the Cardinals offense and will usually go as the rest of the offense does, but there just wasn't as much going Sunday as usual. The Cardinals face a respectable Cleveland defense in Week 6, but there should be more opportunity for Edmonds all the same, health permitting.

Edmonds (hamstring) is listed as active Sunday against the 49ers.
EDGE Analysis
Edmonds didn't get on the practice field until Friday, when his reps were limited. At the time, coach Kliff Kingsbury called Edmonds a game-time decision, but the fourth-year running back seemingly has progressed enough to play through his shoulder injury. With Edmonds in the lineup Week 5, the Cardinals likely will utilize the same 1A and 1B backfield situation (Edmonds and James Conner) as the first four games of the campaign.

Edmonds (shoulder), who is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the 49ers, is expected to play, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Edmonds took a designation into the weekend after he returned to a limited practice Friday following missed sessions Wednesday and Thursday. Confirmation of Edmonds' status will arrive upon the release of the Cardinals' inactive list approximately 90 minutes before Sunday's 4:25 ET p.m. kickoff. If Edmonds ends up limited or out versus San Francisco, James Conner would be in line for added backfield work.

Edmonds (shoulder) was a limited practice participant Friday and is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the 49ers, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
The official designation became a foregone conclusion when head coach Kliff Kingsbury called Edmonds a game-time decision earlier Friday after the running back returned to practice (he sat out sessions Wednesday and Thursday). If Edmonds ends up on the inactive list ahead of Sunday's 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff, James Conner could find himself in a not-at-all-unfamiliar three-down role. Reserve Eno Benjamin (hamstring) is also questionable, leaving Conner and Jonathan Ward as the truly healthy backfield options for the Cards. Edmonds, if he plays, is still probably the safest bet for production, while Conner has been more of an all-or-nothing fantasy play due to his reliance on goal-line touchdowns.

Head coach Kliff Kingsbury said Friday that Edmonds (shoulder) will be a game-time decision for Sunday against the 49ers, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Edmonds' return to practice Friday, though likely in a limited capacity, gives him a shot to avoid his first missed game since November 2019. Shared workloads have helped Edmonds stay healthy since then, and it's possible the Cardinals give him fewer snaps and touches than usual if he suits up this weekend. He's been sharing work with James Conner, who is tied for second in the league with four rushing touchdowns despite averaging only 43 rushing yards and 6.5 receiving yards per game. Conner should be good for more than that if Edmonds ends up on the inactive list ahead of Sunday's 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff.

Edmonds (shoulder) is on the field for Friday's practice, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
A return to practice after missing sessions Wednesday and Thursday should give Edmonds a shot to make it back for Sunday's game against the 49ers. If not, James Conner could be headed for a three-down role, with Jonathan Ward and Eno Benjamin (hamstring) providing depth. The Cardinals also have Tavien Feaster on their practice squad, but Conner and Edmonds are the only backs that have taken touches for the team this season.
