Andre Brown (concussion) is listed as probable for Week 7 after a full practice week. The concussion is no longer a concern. Brown is No. 2 on the Giants' tailback depth chart, ahead of David Wilson and behind foot-troubled Ahmad Bradshaw. Bradshaw is listed as questionable for Week 7 against the Redskins, but is tentatively expected to play. Brown is roster-able again for fantasy owners in bye-week crunches. We'll know more about the Giants' backfield Sunday morning.

Andre Brown worked with the first-team offense during Wednesday's practice. Interesting. In Brown's first practice since a concussion, he was slotted in ahead of David Wilson. It's evidence that the flashy rookie hasn't flipped the depth chart despite working his way out of the doghouse. Ahmad Bradshaw rested his chronic foot injury, but is expected back at practice Thursday.

Andre Brown (concussion) has been ruled out for Week 6. David Wilson will back up and serve as the change-of-pace behind Ahmad Bradshaw Sunday against San Francisco. There is no timetable yet for Brown to return.

Giants RB Andre Brown (concussion) missed another practice Thursday. It doesn't look like Brown has even been cleared for exercise. David Wilson will get a shot as Ahmad Bradshaw's change-of-pace caddy against the Niners Sunday.

Andre Brown (concussion) has not been medically cleared yet. Unlike Robert Griffin III, Brown hasn't even been cleared for exercise yet. Look for David Wilson to back up Ahmad Bradshaw against the Niners' stout run defense Sunday.

Giants coach Tom Coughlin confirmed at Monday's presser that Andre Brown suffered a concussion in Sunday's win, and said he is "not 100 percent." The "not 100 percent" comment is notable in that Coughlin bypassed an opportunity to say Brown has a good chance at suiting up against the 49ers next Sunday. Brown has time to get cleared, but rookie David Wilson will likely serve as Ahmad Bradshaw's backup against the Niners' fearsome run unit.

ESPN New York confirms that Andre Brown suffered a concussion in Sunday's Week 5 win over Cleveland. Brown tweeted during the game -- which is not allowed per NFL rules -- that "everything is okay," though clearly it isn't. Rookie David Wilson took over backup duties behind Ahmad Bradshaw against Cleveland and sprinted 40 yards to the house on one of just two carries, the other going for a gain of four. With Ahmad Bradshaw seemingly entrenched as the Giants' every-down back, Brown is to the point of being droppable in 10- and 12-team leagues. His fantasy success was short lived.

Andre Brown left Sunday's Week 5 game against the Browns with a head injury. His status is uncertain, but Ahmad Bradshaw has been the Giants' primary back thus far. First-round pick David Wilson is third on the depth chart.

Giants RB Andre Brown was limited to nine snaps in Week 4 because the coaching staff doesn't trust his blocking ability. The Giants were also forced to throw "more than they planned" against the Eagles, so ostensibly more-proficient passing-game back Ahmad Bradshaw operated as the feature runner. New York's NFC team shouldn't be in nearly as many obvious passing situations this week against the Browns, so look for Brown to play more. We still believe this backfield will trend toward an RBBC.
