Ulis (ankle) will be available for Thursday's tilt against the Lakers.
EDGE Analysis
After being listed as questionable earlier Thursday with bilateral ankle pain, Ulis has been given the green light against the Lakers. He's seen an increase in workload over the past four outings, averaging 12.3 points, 6.3 assists, and 1.8 steals across 24.8 minutes per game.

Ulis is listed as questionable for Thursday's tilt against the Lakers with an ankle injury, Craig Grialou of ArizonaSports.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
With Eric Bledsoe (knee) also listed as questionable, the Suns could be stretched very thin at the point guard slot. If one player is unable to play, the other would likely absorb some extra minutes, along with Leandro Barbosa possibly getting some extra run at point guard. If Bledsoe and Ulis are both unavailable however, it's possible Brandon Knight and/or Ronnie Price could see the floor, both of whom aren't part of the rotation.

Updating a previous report, Ulis is expected to come off the bench as usual for Tuesday's matchup with the Wizards, J. Michael of CSN Mid-Atlantic reports.
EDGE Analysis
There were reports indicating the Suns were going to go with a small-ball lineup on Tuesday, pushing Ulis into the starting lineup at point guard and then bringing Alex Len off the bench. However, it appears that Ulis is now going to come off the bench as usual. Considering he's coming off a career-best performance across 33 minutes Monday, however, it wouldn't be surprising if the rookie saw extended action yet again against the Wizards.

Ulis will start at point guard for Tuesday's game against the Wizards, J. Michael of CSN Mid-Atlantic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Ulis is coming off a career-best performance against the Celtics on Sunday, where he went off for 20 points and five assists across 33 minutes. An increased role has been a growing trend for the 21-year-old rookie, as he's seen 21 minutes or more in each of the last three games. Coach Earl Watson is attempting to go with a smaller unit Tuesday, shifting all of the normal starters down a position, while sending Alex Len to the bench. With the promotion to the top five, Ulis should see a 30-plus minute role and could be a cheaper value play for Tuesday's DFS slate, although it's unclear if this is just a one-game experiment.

Ulis dropped a career-high 20 points (8-12 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 3-3 FT) while also chipping in five assists, two rebounds, and one steal across 33 minutes during Sunday's 109-106 victory over the Celtics.
EDGE Analysis
With the Suns having no realistic chance of making the playoffs, coach Earl Watson has opted to let many of his young players loose. In the two games prior to Sunday's outburst, Ulis averaged an impressive 11.0 points, 7.5 assists, and 2.5 steals across 22.0 minutes per game, but was given the green light by coach Watson against the Celtics. While he likely won't continue seeing over 30 minutes per game, coach Watson probably won't hesitate to give him heavy minutes whenever he has the hot hand. He could be a valuable option in deeper fantasy leagues, and may make for a high-risk high-reward DFS play for the time being.

Ulis finished with 14 points (6-9 FG, 2-2 FT) while dishing out seven assists over 21 minutes in Friday's 118-111 win against the Thunder.
EDGE Analysis
Ulis also contributed four rebounds and three steals. He is starting to show some signs of life lately, averaging 10.3 points, 7.3 assists and 2.0 steals per game over his past three outings. It isn't huge production but it's well in excess of his season averages. Only fantasy owners in deeper seasonal leagues should rely upon him at the moment.

Ulis totaled 13 points (5-13 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six assists, two rebounds and one steal across 28 minutes during a 133-102 loss to the Rockets on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
Ulis' 13 points and 28 minutes were season highs, as he received some extended minutes in the blowout while the team lacked point guard depth with Eric Bledsoe (rest) sidelined. Ulis hadn't played more than three minutes in a game since Jan. 30 and had only scored in double figures on two previous occasions, so with Bledsoe likely to return in the next game, don't expect Ulis to follow up this effort with a similar one.

Ulis (coach's decision) didn't see the floor in a 105-103 win over the Kings on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Ulis has only appeared in one of the Suns' last five games, with coach Earl Watson's decision to lean on Eric Bledsoe, Devin Booker, Brandon Knight and Leandro Barbosa as his main rotation options in the backcourt during that stretch leaving no room for the rookie. With neither Barbosa nor Knight seemingly viewed as parts of the team's long-term vision, Ulis should have an opportunity to see more run in the final couple months of the season, but even if that's the case, he'll be hard pressed to deliver fantasy value in a bench role.

Ulis logged six minutes in a 113-108 loss to the Mavericks on Thursday, finishing with no points (0-3 FG) and one rebound.
EDGE Analysis
The fruitless night from the floor dropped Ulis' field-goal percentage down to 39 percent for the season, which includes a 1-of-10 mark over his last three appearances. The diminutive point guard has seen the court in 24 of the Suns' 39 games this season, but he has yet to demonstrate the consistent performance needed to occupy a regular spot in coach Earl Watson's rotation. It may take a trade of one the team's other backcourt players before Ulis sees more extended playing time.

Ulis has been recalled from the D-League.
EDGE Analysis
Ulis was sent down to the D-League on Wednesday but he's since rejoined the Suns in advance of Thursday's matchup with the Spurs. The rookie out of Kentucky has not been able to work his way into a consistent rotational role thus far and will likely see more time in the D-League as the season wears on.
