Ulis dropped a career-high 20 points (8-12 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 3-3 FT) while also chipping in five assists, two rebounds, and one steal across 33 minutes during Sunday's 109-106 victory over the Celtics.
EDGE Analysis
With the Suns having no realistic chance of making the playoffs, coach Earl Watson has opted to let many of his young players loose. In the two games prior to Sunday's outburst, Ulis averaged an impressive 11.0 points, 7.5 assists, and 2.5 steals across 22.0 minutes per game, but was given the green light by coach Watson against the Celtics. While he likely won't continue seeing over 30 minutes per game, coach Watson probably won't hesitate to give him heavy minutes whenever he has the hot hand. He could be a valuable option in deeper fantasy leagues, and may make for a high-risk high-reward DFS play for the time being.
