Ulis accounted for eight points (4-11 FG, 0-3 3Pt), seven assists and one rebound across 30 minutes in Tuesday's 112-93 loss to the Lakers.
EDGE Analysis
Ulis drew the start at point guard for Devin Booker (hip) and provided some decent production in the double-digit loss. The 22-year-old has turned in a couple of productive showings recently in a bench role, having turned in a pair of double-digit scoring efforts in the prior four games. With Booker already slated as doubtful for Wednesday's contest against the Spurs, Ulis appears to be in line for another start, albeit against a tougher defensive opponent than the one he faced Tuesday.

Ulis will start Tuesday's game against the Lakers, Craig Grialou of ArizonaSports.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
With Devin Booker (hip) ruled out, Ulis will move back into the lineup at point guard, making his 36th start of the season. The Kentucky product has struggled from the field in his sophomore campaign (37.9% FG, 26.8% 3PT), but he's still a decent source of assists (4.0 per game). while adding 1.1 steals per game. Considering Isaiah Canaan (ankle) is done for the season, Ulis should be in position for big minutes Tuesday, with ex-G-Leaguer Josh Gray representing the Suns' only other healthy point guard.

Ulis (back) supplied 14 points (6-8 FG, 2-3 3Pt), two assists and one rebound across 20 minutes in Friday's 129-97 loss to the Jazz.
EDGE Analysis
Ulis fought through the back issues that had him listed as a game-time decision leading into the contest to post his fourth double-digit scoring effort in the last 10 games. The 22-year-old appears set to remain in a second-unit role for the time being, as head coach Jay Triano appears content to deploy a starting backcourt of Devin Booker and improving rookie Josh Jackson. Ulis is still capable of mustering the occasional double-digit scoring effort while coming off the bench, but his inconsistent production primarily limits his fantasy value to deeper formats.

Ulis is dealing with a back injury and will be a game-time decision for Friday's game against the Jazz, Craig Grialou of ArizonaSports.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
It's unclear exactly when or how Ulis suffered the back injury, but the point guard was able to participate in shootaround. He'll test out the injury one last time in pregame warmups before a decision is made, but if Ulis is unable to play Friday, Josh Gray, who was just signed to a 10-day contract, would be in line to serve as the backup point guard in his first game as a Sun.

Ulis recorded 13 points (6-13 FG, 1-3 3Pt), seven assists, five steals, and one rebound in 31 minutes during Monday's 120-109 loss to the Grizzlies.
EDGE Analysis
Ulis had combined to play just 15 minutes over the last two games, both of which he came off the bench. Therefore, this was an especially encouraging performance, as Ulis had appeared to completely drop off the fantasy radar. He's still not a good option in most leagues, and that will be especially true once Devin Booker (ribs), who missed Monday's matchup, returns to the lineup. Nevertheless, it at least bodes well for Ulis that he was able to outplay temporary starter Isaiah Canaan so thoroughly on Monday. Furthermore, Ulis also managed a career high in steals.

Ulis will come off the bench for Friday's contest against the Knicks while Devin Booker and Troy Daniels draw starts in the backcourt.
EDGE Analysis
Though Ulis will come off the bench, it's unclear if he'll see a significant reduction in workload. Over the past five games, he's averaged 5.8 points, 3.6 assists and 1.2 steals across 21.2 minutes per contest.

Ulis had two assists and one steal in 15 minutes during Monday's 109-105 loss to the Bucks.
EDGE Analysis
Ulis didn't attempt a shot and struggled to even stay on the court, as the Bucks roll out some of the biggest lineups in the league. Ulis is usually good for at least a couple buckets and a handful of dimes, and he has only seen less than 20 minutes in 10 of 46 appearances in 2017-18. With that being said, his ceiling is still pretty low, which doesn't couple well with having such a low floor.

Ulis supplied 16 points (6-8 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 4-4 FT), eight assists and five rebounds across 29 minutes in Wednesday's 115-109 loss to the Raptors.
EDGE Analysis
Ulis generated his second consecutive double-digit scoring effort following a four-point performance versus the Spurs last Saturday. It was also the second-year guard's best shooting percentage (75.0) in any game this season, along with his second-best assist total. Ulis continues to draw starts and has proven to be a serviceable source of assists with the ability to contribute the occasional double-digit scoring total.

Ulis provided four points (2-6 FG, 0-1 3Pt), four assists and one rebound across 20 minutes during a 119-108 loss to the Timberwolves on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
After a couple solid games in a row, Ulis reverted to a four-point performance and was heavily outplayed by reserve Mike James. The even more discouraging aspect of this performance for Ulis is that he should have had more opportunities to score with Devin Booker (knee) held out. Ulis hasn't been too good this season, and James continue to be the better fantasy option.

Ulis contributed 12 points (3-6 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 5-5 FT), five assists, two rebounds, two steals and one block across 32 minutes in Wednesday's 113-107 overtime loss to the Bucks.
EDGE Analysis
The second-year point guard generated his second-double-digit scoring total in the last three games, an encouraging development considering he'd failed to hit the mark in eight of the nine games prior to the current stretch. Ulis' shot attempts are typically in the single digits, keeping his offensive contributions decidedly capped on most nights. However, he continues to retain a hold of the starting point guard job for the time being and has been offering solid rebounding, assist and steal totals for his fantasy owners.
