Ulis posted 19 points (7-12 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 3-4 FT), eight assists, five rebounds, one steal and one block across 30 minutes in Monday's 102-94 loss to the Celtics.
EDGE Analysis
He particularly thrived in the second quarter, racking up seven points, five assists and four rebounds during the period. Ulis' overall scoring total was a season high and represented his third straight double-digit tally. Given the expanded opportunity he's enjoyed recently -- he's seen between 15 and 30 minutes in seven of the last eight contests -- and his ball-handling duties in the Suns' fast-paced attack, the second-year guard retains value as a DFS punt play for the time being.

Ulis delivered 14 points (7-13 FG, 0-2 3Pt), two assists and one rebound across 20 minutes in Saturday's 105-99 loss to the Magic.
EDGE Analysis
Ulis has stepped up with solid efforts over the last pair of contests while Devin Booker (hand) has been sidelined, averaging 12.5 points on 48.0 percent shooting. He's been heavily involved on the offensive end relative to playing time, putting up a total of 25 shot attempts during that stretch. The boost in production is certainly unexpected, given that Ulis had managed a double-digit scoring tally only once since Feb. 4 prior to his current two-game surge.

Ulis tallied 11 points (5-11 FG, 1-2 3Pt), 10 rebounds, two assists and one steal across 23 minutes during Saturday's 122-115 loss to the Hornets.
EDGE Analysis
Ulis made his first appearance since the last game before the All-Star break due to the absences of T.J. Warren, Devin Booker and Josh Jackson. He played just under half the game but made the most of his minutes, with the 10 helpers representing his second highest total of the season. At least two of Ulis' three aforementioned teammates are expected to return Tuesday against the Cavaliers, which could minimize any role he was set to play.

Ulis will be available for Saturday's game against the Hornets, Scott Bordow of AZCentral.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Ulis hasn't played since before the All-Star break, as he fell out of the rotation around the time the team brought in Elfrid Payton from Orlando. However, with Devin Booker, Josh Jackson and T.J. Warren all out Saturday, Ulis' services may be necessary, though Bordow notes that the guard is battling a back issue.

Ulis (back) didn't see the floor in Friday's 128-117 loss to the Clippers despite being deemed available for the contest beforehand.
EDGE Analysis
Despite reportedly being healthy enough to play, Ulis was held out by virtue of head coach Jay Triano's decision. The 22-year-old has averaged 6.8 points, 3.9 assists, 1.6 rebounds and 1.0 steal across 56 games (37 starts) this season. His next opportunity to take the floor comes Saturday night versus the Trail Blazers.

Ulis (back) is available for Friday's matchup versus the Clippers, Craig Grialou of ArizonaSports.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Ulis has either been sidelined or missed portions of the previous four games while nursing a back injury. He has had time to rest over the All Star Break, and appears to have recovered enough to return to action. It is unclear what type of worklaod he will see with both Elfrid Payton and Devin Booker in the backcourt, but it will presumably be much less than what he saw prior to his injury.

Ulis (back) participated in shootaround but is still questionable for Friday's game against the Clippers, Craig Grialou of ArizonaSports.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Ulis was unable to practice Friday and was officially listed as questionable, and while his participation in shootaround is surely encouraging, the point guard will likely end up being a game-time decision against the Clippers. The Suns should update Ulis' status based on his ability to participate in pre-game warmups later on.

Ulis (back) is officially listed as questionable for Friday's game against the Clippers, Scott Bordow of the Arizona Republic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Ulis was unable to practice Thursday, so he doesn't appear to be trending in the right direction to take the floor Friday. That said, there's still a chance he feels better over the next 24 hours, so he'll be given a questionable designation for now. Another update should be provided following Friday's morning shootaround and if he were to sit out, it could allow recent 10-day contract player Shaq Harrison a chance to see a few spot minutes off the bench.

EDGE Analysis
Ulis recently missed two straight games due to back spasms, and it looks like some of the issues may have resurfaced. He was active for the team's final game before the All-Star break, but he played just nine minutes, so it could be a more serious problem than originally perceived. Expect an official update on Ulis to come after the Suns' shootaround Friday morning.
