Ulis signed an Exhibit 10 contract with the Warriors on Friday, Anthony Slater of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Ulis was waived by the Suns prior to the kick off of free agency. He spent his first two seasons in Phoenix providing point guard depth, but saw a fair amount of playing time due to injuries ahead of him. Overall, the Kentucky product averaged 7.6 points, 4.1 assists, 0.9 steals, and 0.5 triples across 21.1 minutes during his time there. He will presumably have a hard time earning a spot on the the Warriors' final roster heading into the season, but he will get an opportunity to make an impression.

Ulis was waved Saturday by the Suns, SScott Bordow of The Arizona Republic reports.
EDGE Analysis
The young point guard will hit the free agent market after averaging 7.8 points 4.4 points in Phoenix during his sophomore season. With the team's recent draft addition of Elie Okobo, Ulis found himself as the odd man out, playing the role of a guard who had trouble from deep, where he only shot 28.8 percent. He'll hit the free agent market with two years of experience despite only being 22.

Ulis provided 14 points (5-10 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 3-3 FT), eight assists, two steals and one block during the Suns' 124-97 win over the Mavericks on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Ulis finished out the regular season by scoring in double figures in each of the Suns' last 10 games. The former Kentucky Wildcat had his best season of his young career where he averaged 7.8 points, 4.4 assists and 1.8 rebounds across 71 games played, all career bests.

Ulis will come off the bench for Tuesday's season finale against the Mavericks, Scott Bordow of the Arizona Republic reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Suns are set to be without nine players on Tuesday, but are still opting to bring Ulis off the bench in favor of Shaquille Harrison. The exact reasoning behind the move is unclear, though even with the demotion, Ulis will likely still see big minutes out of pure necessity. Ulis has played very well of late, averaging 14.4 points, 4.0 rebounds, 8.8 assists and 1.2 steals across 36.4 minutes over his last five games.

Ulis posted 15 points (5-15 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 4-4 FT), 10 assists and two rebounds across 37 minutes in Sunday's 117-100 loss to the Warriors.
EDGE Analysis
Ulis continues to thrive in the absence of Elfrid Payton (knee), which is likely to extend into the final game of the season against the Mavericks on Tuesday. The 22-year-old has posted nine consecutive double-digit scoring efforts, generating double-doubles in two of those contests. Ulis' accuracy has seen its fair share of fluctuations, but he continues to power through any struggles by keeping his shot volume high. Factoring in Sunday's production, he's averaging 14.0 points, 8.0 assists, 3.5 rebounds and 1.3 steals across four April games.

Ulis posted 16 points (7-13 FG, 2-3 3Pt), five rebounds, four assists and two steals in 30 minutes during Friday's 122-103 loss to the Pelicans.
EDGE Analysis
While Friday's stat line wasn't as explosive as his past few games, Ulis performed admirably with the Suns backcourt crippled. Ulis' future is intriguing and it begs the question why the Suns felt like Elfrid Payton was a necessary addition when they already had talent like Ulis on their bench. Conventional wisdom says that there will be too many cooks in the kitchen for the Suns next year, and it's apparent that Ulis is too good for a bench role.

Ulis collected 13 points (4-12 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 5-6 FT), nine assists, three rebounds and one steal across 36 minutes in Tuesday's 97-94 win over the Kings.
EDGE Analysis
Ulis continues to run with the first unit in the absence of Elfrid Payton (knee) and produce solid all-around lines. The 22-year-old now has seven straight double-digit scoring efforts, and he's dished out between eight and 12 assists in five of the last seven contests. Poor shooting has capped his scoring contributions over the last three contests as well, as he's shot 35.7 percent or worse during that stretch.

Ulis produced 12 points (5-14 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 1-1 FT), nine assists, four rebounds and two assists in 41 minutes during Sunday's 117-107 loss to Golden State.
EDGE Analysis
Ulis saw a huge amount of playing time Sunday, falling just one assist short of another double-double. After a season of basic irrelevance, he has turned things around over the past six games, seeing at least 30 minutes of playing time in five of those games. Elfrid Payton )knee) being out likely has something to do with that but Ulis was outplaying Payton even before he went down. Payton doesn't appear to be a part of the future plans for the Suns and so even when he does return, Ulis could hold onto the starting spot, maintaining his current value.

Ulis contributed 23 points (9-16 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds and two assists in 37 minutes during Wednesday's 111-99 loss to the Clippers.
EDGE Analysis
Ulis lead the Suns with a season-high 23 points, including three triples. Elfrid Payton (knee) was forced to miss this game, allowing Ulis to see some additional run as the starting point-guard. Ulis has been outplaying Payton of late anyway, and based on this performance, could be in line for more playing time, whether Payton returns or not.

Ulis will pick up the spot start at point guard for Wednesday's game against the Clippers, Scott Bordow of the Arizona Republic reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Suns are set to be without usual starting point guard Elfrid Payton on Wednesday, as he's sitting out with a knee injury. That allows Ulis to pick up the start in his place and he should push for 30-plus minutes. Look for Ulis to see a temporary uptick in usage and fantasy value, especially considering both Devin Booker (hand) and T.J. Warren (knee) are also sitting out Wednesday's contest. Along with Ulis, Shaquille Harrison is in line for added playing time in the backcourt.
