Allen (knee) is listed as questionable for Friday's tilt with the Lakers, Peter Fleischer of Fox13Memphis.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Allen is in danger of missing his third straight contest due to soreness in his left knee. It will be the defensive-specialist's last chance to match up against Kobe Bryant, who scored 13 points in Allen's absence on Wednesday night. The Grizzlies may wait to see how Allen performs in pregame warmups before making an official decision. If he is ruled out, look for Vince Carter, P.J. Hairston and Lance Stephenson to see increased minutes.

Allen (knee) is listed as questionable for Wednesday's game against the Lakers, Peter Fleischer of Fox13 Memphis reports.
EDGE Analysis
Allen missed Sunday's game against Toronto with a sore left knee, and after being considered doubtful on Tuesday, it is at least good news that he has been upgraded to questionable. Still, the designation is not an optimistic one, and the insecurity of his status is discouraging from a fantasy perspective. If Allen sits, expect a bigger game from Kobe Bryant without Allen's glove-like defense on him the entire game, as well as a possible increase in playing time for players like Vince Carter, P.J. Hairston and Lance Stephenson.

Allen (knee) is not expected to be ready for Wednesday's game against the Lakers according to Grizzlies coach Dave Joerger, Ronald Tillery of the Commercial Appeal reports.
EDGE Analysis
Allen's sore left knee kept him out of Sunday's contest against the Raptors, and it appears to be a lingering issue as he likely won't play on Wednesday either. His next chance to return would come Friday against the Lakers, while Lance Stephenson, Vince Carter, and P.J. Hairston are all candidates to see slightly increased roles in Allen's potential absence.

Allen (knee) has been ruled out of Sunday's game against the Raptors, Rob Fischer of Fox Sports Southeast reports.
EDGE Analysis
Allen left Friday's game with a sore left knee and it's still giving him problems, so he'll receive the night off Sunday. It's unclear who's going to receive the start at shooting guard, but Lance Stephenson, Vince Carter and P.J. Hairston are all candidates. No matter who starts, all should see a slight increase in minutes. Allen's next opportunity to return will be Wednesday versus the Lakers.

Allen (sore left knee) is questionable for Sunday's game at Toronto, the Commercial Appeal's Ronald Tillery reports.
EDGE Analysis
He left Friday's game with a sore left knee, and was able to walk off under his own power. With newly acquired Lance Stephenson (hip) also banged up, Matt Barnes, Vince Carter and P.J. Hairston could be called upon for more minutes than usual on Sunday.

Allen (knee) left Friday's game against Minnesota and will not return, Rob Fischer of Fox Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Allen left with a sore left knee midway through Friday's game against Minnesota. He was able to walk under his own power, so it looks like this isn't too serious, but more details regarding the injury will likely surface after the game.

Allen has gone back to the Grizzlies' locker room after suffering an apparent left leg injury, Kevin Lipe of the Memphis Flyer reports.
EDGE Analysis
Fortunately, Allen was able to walk to the locker room under his own power late in the first half of Friday's matchup against Minnesota after he appeared to tweak something in his lower left leg. More information on Allen's status figures to be available following half time.

Allen didn't take a shot and was held scoreless against the Mavericks Saturday night. He also contributed four rebounds and a steal in his 17 minutes on the floor.
EDGE Analysis
After posting solid scoring and rebounding averages in January, Allen has failed to reach double-digit points or collect more than seven rebounds so far this month. Even more troubling is the fact that he played just 17 minutes after playing just 18 minutes the night before. Allen isn't consistent enough in any category to warrant a roster spot in most leagues.

Allen pitched in 13 points (5-9 FG, 3-3 FT), seven rebounds and a block over 28 minutes in Thursday's 103-83 victory over the Bucks.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran appears to be fully recovered from his nagging knee and hamstring ailments, managing his first double-digit point total since Jan. 12 versus the Rockets. The scoring haul followed four straight single-digit scoring performances, while the seven boards brought Allen's two-game total to an impressive 19 in that category. With his health restored for the time being, the 12-year veteran will look to close out a successful month of January in which he's brought both his scoring (9.8) and rebound (7.5) averages significantly up from his December totals in those categories.

Allen (knee, hamstring) contributed nine points (4-9 FG, 1-3 FT), 12 rebounds, four steals, and one assist in 40 minutes during the Grizzlies' 108-102 overtime win against the Magic on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
After missing the last two contests, Allen was able to return to action on Monday. His 40 minutes and 12 rebounds were both season-highs, and his four steals matched a season-high as well. Allen is averaging 32 minutes per game in January after seeing between 20-25 minutes per game in each month prior this season, and it has resulted in more production. However, Allen is best reserved for use in deeper leagues at this point in his career.
