Allen is in the starting lineup for Thursday's game against the Pistons, David Mayo of MLive Media Group reports.
EDGE Analysis
Despite having Matt Barnes available, the Grizzlies will continue to keep Allen in the starting lineup. Allen has really excelled over the past five games, averaging 10.8 points, 7.2 rebounds, 2.4 steals and 1.2 assists over 32 minutes, so he's earned the extended run as a starter. It remains unclear what the Grizzlies' long term plan is for their starting lineup and it will likely continue to change on a game-to-game basis.

Allen recorded 15 points (5-9 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 4-6 FT), 10 rebounds, two steals, and one block in 32 minutes during the Grizzlies' 101-98 win against the Celtics on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Allen continues to impress over the past five games, with averages of 10.8 points (55.6 FG, 100.0 3Pt, 64.7 FT), 7.2 rebounds, 2.4 steals, 1.2 assists, 0.6 threes, and 0.4 blocks in 32 minutes per contest during that span. The Grizzlies' back-court is dealing with injuries to Mike Conley (Achilles) and Courtney Lee (hip), so Allen has understandably seen an increase in playing time of late. Still, he never stays hot for long offensively, and it's unlikely that Conley or Lee will miss significant time.

Allen scored eight points (3-5 FG, 2-3 FT) to go with five rebounds, three steals, and two assists across 29 minutes in Wednesday's 112-94 loss to the Thunder.
EDGE Analysis
As anticipated, Allen didn't see much change in his productivity with the move back to the starting lineup, as he scored the same number of points that he'd provided in his previous contest while coming off the bench Monday against the Trail Blazers. Allen will likely continue to start as long as either Mike Conley (Achilles) or Courtney Lee (hip) are sidelined, but Mario Chalmers will be a more major beneficiary of those absences, at least from a fantasy perspective.

Allen will draw the start Wednesday versus the Thunder, Eric Hasseltine of The Eric Hasseltine Show reports.
EDGE Analysis
Allen had started 23 of 24 games before being sidelined for five due to an injury. After his return, Allen drew a reserve role for six of the last seven games. He will return to the starting lineup Wednesday thanks to Mike Conley's absence. It is unclear how long Conley may be sidelined due to a sore Achilles, but Allen will likely continue starting in his place if he misses any more time.

Allen will return to the bench against Portland on Monday, Rob Fischer of Sports 56 WHBQ-87.7FM reports.
EDGE Analysis
Allen played 36 minutes in each of the last two games, and even started Saturday against the Jazz, with Matt Barnes (suspension) absent from the team, but Allen's unexpected flurry of minutes will seemingly come to an end with Barnes making his return to the starting lineup Monday.

Allen pitched in with 13 points (5-9 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 2-3 FT), eight rebounds, two assists and three steals over 36 minutes in Saturday's 92-87 overtime loss to the Jazz.
EDGE Analysis
The 12-year veteran contributed only his fifth double-digit scoring performance of the season, and his first since Dec. 11 versus the Hornets. The eight boards were a season high, and Allen's nine attempts from the field qualified as his most in a game since that same December contest against Charlotte. Allen has encouragingly taken 17 shots over the last two games, while receiving 36 minutes of playing time in each. While he can't be counted on for consistent scoring, increased involvement on offense such as what he's recently demonstrated would certainly serve to give a modest boost to his fantasy value.

Allen played a season-high 36 minutes in Tuesday's 99-90 overtime win over the Heat, finishing with six points (3-8 FG), seven boards, two steals, and one block.
EDGE Analysis
Allen's uptick in playing time can likely be attributed to both the extra period along with the absence of Matt Barnes (suspension), which left the Grizzlies with fewer wing options. The 33-year-old will see his playing time plummet when Barnes returns to action next Monday against the Trail Blazers.

Allen tallied one point (0-5 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 1-4 FT), three rebounds, and one steal in 17 minutes during the Grizzlies' 104-90 win versus the 76ers on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Allen returned to the rotation after missing the past five games with a knee injury. However, the 34-year-old has lost his place in the starting five, and it's tough to trust him even in the deepest leagues given the Grizzlies' depth along the wing.

Allen (knee) is active and available to play in Tuesday's game against the 76ers, Rob Fischer of Fox Sports Southeast reports.
EDGE Analysis
Allen has missed the last five games with a knee injury, but will be available off the bench for Tuesday's matchup with the Sixers. It's not guaranteed that he actually sees any court time, although if he does, it will likely be in a limited fashion. Courtney Lee will continue to start in his place, but he could lose a few minutes to Allen if he's ready to go.

Allen (knee) remains day-to-day, and the Grizzlies hope he'll be able to play Tuesday night, Ronald Tillery of the Memphis Commercial Appeal reports.
EDGE Analysis
Allen will attempt to go through a full practice Monday, but coach Dave Joerger said the team will "see how much he can do" before giving him another evaluation. Assuming he's able to participate in at least parts of practice, he'll likely be considered questionable heading into Tuesday. An official ruling on his status probably won't emerge until following Tuesday's morning shootaround.
