Allen (knee) will not play in Wednesday's contest, Peter Fleischer of Fox13Memphis.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
This will be the third consecutive game missed for Allen due to a right knee injury. Allen was questionable heading into Wednesday's game, and wanted to test his knee out during shootaround. Unfortunately, owners will have to continue waiting for his return. His next opportunity to play will be Friday in Dallas.

Allen (knee) said he will warm up and attempt to play Wednesday against Chicago, Ronald Tillery of the Commercial Appeal reports.
EDGE Analysis
Allen has missed the last two games with a minor knee issue, but he could make his return Wednesday. An update likely won't come until just before game-time, however, as he plans to see how the knee reacts after warming up. That said, Allen is not much of an option in daily contests, so the situation isn't overly critical.

Allen (knee) is listed as out Monday against the Wizards, Ronald Tillery of the Commercial Appeal reports.
EDGE Analysis
This is the second game in a row that Allen will sit out after injuring his knee in warmups Sunday. Courtney Lee is expected to continue to see an increased workload in Allen's absence, and may even have the same opportunity when Allen becomes available again.

Allen (knee) is listed as questionable for Monday's game against the Wizards, Jorge Castillo of The Washington Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Allen ended up being a late scratch ahead of Sunday's game against the Heat with the sore right knee, which he apparently sustained during warmups. The injury resulted in coach Dave Joerger making wholesale changes to his starting lineup, as Courtney Lee filled in for Allen while Matt Barnes replaced Zach Randolph. The Grizzlies are listing the same starters in advance of Monday's game, so it's possible that even if healthy, Allen has lost out to Lee for top duties at shooting guard. Prior to suffering the injury, Allen had been seeing very inconsistent minutes while Lee held down a larger role off the bench, meaning that a potential removal from the starting lineup likely won't do much to further diminish Allen's already minimal fantasy value.

Allen is a late scratch for Sunday's game due to a knee injury, Rob Fischer of Fox Sports Southeast reports.
EDGE Analysis
Allen reportedly suffered a right knee injury during warmups, which will force him to sit out Sunday. The Grizzlies also plan to bring Zach Randolph off the bench, so Courtney Lee and Matt Barnes are going to run with the starters. It's unclear how severe of an injury this is, so we'll have to wait for further information. For now consider him questionable for Monday's outing with the Wizards.

Allen scored 10 points (5-11 FG, 0-1 3Pt) to go along with three rebounds, one assist, one steal, and one block in 30 minutes during the Grizzlies' 123-99 loss versus the Hornets on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Allen has been awful this season offensively, and though he is still managing 1.5 steals per game, the 21 minutes per game he is playing is the least he has seen since his first season with the Grizzlies back in 2010-11. Allen has logged 30 and 22 minutes in the team's past two games, but with such a crowded wing rotation, it's becoming increasingly difficult to rely on him even if you are desperate for steals in deeper leagues.

Allen recorded zero points (0-4 FG) and one steal in eight minutes during the Grizzlies' 95-93 win versus the Suns on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Allen started both halves and didn't commit a single foul, yet played a season-low eight minutes in the Grizzlies' win. After logging 20 or more minutes in 12 of the first 13 games this season, Allen has enjoyed 20 minutes or more of floor time in only three of the nine games after that. The team's depth at the wing combined with Allen's inability to space the court appears to finally be catching up with him, and the soon-to-be 34-year-old isn't guaranteed many minutes even if he does continue starting.

Allen saw a season-high 31 minutes in Tuesday's win over the Mavericks, finishing with 11 points (2-5 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 6-8 FT) to go with four rebounds, two steals, and one assist.
EDGE Analysis
It was just the second time all season that Allen finished with double-digit scoring production, while the high minutes count may have been a product of Courtney Lee's ongoing struggles from the field. Lee has been in a season-long funk from three-point line, which could continue to result on coach Dave Joerger leaning more frequently on the defensive-minded Allen to assume the bulk of the minutes at the two-guard spot.
