Gobert scored nine points (3-5 FG, 3-5 FT) while adding 14 rebounds, four blocks and a steal in 32 minutes during Saturday's win over the Pelicans.
EDGE Analysis
He just missed his third double-double of the season, and Gobert's 2.8 blocks per game now put him third in the league behind Hassan Whiteside and DeAndre Jordan, while his 10.8 boards per game are fifth in the league. The third-year center is still developing as a player, but his contributions in the frontcourt categories are already among the NBA's elite.

Gobert (tailbone) logged 38 minutes Wednesday against the Clippers and posted 10 points (4-4 FG, 2-4 FT), 11 rebounds, two steals, two blocks, and one assist.
EDGE Analysis
Gobert was dealing with a bruised tailbone but ultimately was able to make it on the court. He didn't appear to be too limited, considering he logged 38 minutes and posted a double-double. That being said, owners shouldn't worry too much about his status moving forward.

Gobert (tailbone) is expected to play in Wednesday's game against the Clippers, Aaron Falk of the Salt Lake Tribune reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gobert bruised his tailbone in Monday's loss to the Thunder, and did not return, but he now seems ready to go. He'll be asked to take on a big match up in DeAndre Jordan tonight, and is likely to receive his normal minute load.

Gobert left Monday's loss to the Thunder in the fourth quarter due to a tailbone contusion and didn't return, the Associated Press reports. He finished with 10 points (4-6 FG, 2-2 FT), five rebounds, one steal, and five turnovers in 25 minutes.
EDGE Analysis
Gobert had played over 36 minutes in each of his previous three games since returning from a sprained ankle, but saw his playing time reduced significantly Monday once the injury surfaced. The ailment doesn't sound especially worrisome, however, and Gobert's extended absence in the second half likely had a lot to do with the Jazz trailing by 20 points after three quarters. The expectation is that Gobert will be ready to assume his normal minutes load when the Jazz take the court again Wednesday against the Clippers, when he'll be asked to match up with DeAndre Jordan.

Gobert has scored 18 points and collected 16 rebounds over the last two games while playing just under 40 minutes in each contest.
EDGE Analysis
After sitting out two games on the previous road trip, Gobert has played significant minutes in two consecutive games and has been fairly productive in each of them. He even added in five blocks, four assists, and two steals in the past two games. This seems to indicate that the 23-year-old is fine going forward and should continue to play plenty of minutes as the main center for the Jazz.

Gobert (ankle) will attempt to play Sunday against the Hawks.
EDGE Analysis
After a two-game absence, Gobert took part in morning shootaround Sunday and felt good enough during the session to pronounce himself good to go for the evening. It's expected that he'll reclaim his spot as the Jazz's starting center, though any lingering pain he may be experiencing with his ankle could result in him facing a minute restriction of some kind. Gobert had been averaging 33.4 minutes over his seven games prior to the injury, but don't be surprised if his minutes count falls into the 20-to-25 range as the Jazz look to limit his workload in his first game back.

Gobert (ankle) is questionable for Sunday's tilt in Atlanta, David Locke of the Utah Jazz reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gobert has missed Utah's last two games with an ankle injury. He wanted to play Friday but was unable to go, so going through shootaround would seem to be a good sign for his chances to play. Gobert is averaging 11.9 points, 8.7 boards, 2.0 assists, 0.6 steals, and 3.4 rejections, in 33 minutes per game this season.

Gobert (ankle) has been ruled out for Friday's game.
EDGE Analysis
He will be held out for the second straight game with the sprained ankle, meaning Derrick Favors will once again be charged with carrying a heavier load down low. Favors blocked seven shots and played 40 minutes in the Jazz's last game, so he makes for a strong play in daily leagues.

Gobert (ankle) is listed as questionable for Friday's game against the Magic
EDGE Analysis
Gobert missed Thursday night's game against Miami and now there is a chance he misses the second of the back-to-back. Trey Lyles got the start in Gobert's place against the Heat, but still only played 18 minutes and scored just two points. However, Derrick Favors played a team-high 40 minutes and took over as a rim protector, recording seven blocks. Expect Favors to play heavy minutes and be active in the frontcourt once again should Gobert be ruled out.

Gobert (ankle) is listed as out and will not play Thursday against Miami, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gobert was originally listed as questionable but has been listed as out just before Thursday's tip off. It's unclear if he'll miss any more time but his next opportunity to get back will be Friday against Orlando. It has not been announced who will start in his place, Tibor Pleiss will likely see an increase in minutes in Gobert's absence.
