Gobert (ankle) is questionable to return to Monday's matchup with the Jazz after suffering a sprained right ankle, Tim MacMahon of ESPN reports.

Given the importance of the matchup, if Gobert is capable of returning he likely will. However, if he cannot return he will likely be day-to-day heading into the season finale Wednesday against the Lakers.

Gobert compiled 16 points (5-7 FG, 6-11 FT), 14 rebounds, six blocks, and one assist in 38 minutes during the Jazz's 100-84 win versus the Nuggets on Sunday.

Gobert recorded his 20th double-double of the season on Sunday while taking over the game defensively. Monday's bout with Dallas will be pivotal for both squads as they race with Houston for the last two playoff spots up for grabs. Therefore, expect Gobert to get heavy minutes, especially if Derrick Favors is sidelined once again due to knee soreness.

Gobert scored 10 points (4-4 FG, 2-6 FT) while adding 14 rebounds, three blocks and a steal in 36 minutes during Friday's win over the Timberwolves.

He's now recorded double-doubles in back-to-back games, and Gobert has pulled down double-digit rebounds and multiple blocks in four straight. The third-year center has struggled to make an impact on offense recently, averaging just 6.7 points a game in March, but his 12.6 boards and 1.6 blocks a game on the month have allowed him to maintain some value.

Gobert scored 11 points (5-10 FG, 1-4 FT) to go with 18 rebounds, two blocks, and two assists over 38 minutes in Wednesday's loss to the Warriors.

Gobert has grabbed a whopping 37 rebounds in his last two games and is now sixth in the league in boards. It's actually the second time this month that The Stifle Tower has collected 18 or more rebounds in consecutive games. He's a monster on the glass and should continue to mop up for the remainder of the season.

Gobert supplied eight points (3-8 FG, 2-4 FT), 19 rebounds, four assists, and two blocks in 28 minutes during the Jazz's 123-75 win over the Lakers on Monday.

Gobert was exceedingly impressive in just 28 minutes of action on Monday, as the Jazz blew out the Lakers. He matched his season high in rebounding, which occurred on Feb. 27 against the Nets, and even made a rare mid-range jump shot. Gobert is in the midst of his worst scoring month of the season, but is still managing averages of 6.4 points, 12.3 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and 1.5 blocks in 29 minutes during March.

Gobert scored 12 points (4-7 FG, 4-4 FT) while adding 14 rebounds, two assists, two steals and two blocks in 34 minutes during Sunday's win over the Bucks.

EDGE Analysis

While his scoring remains modest, Gobert has been a terror on the glass lately, averaging 12.8 boards along with 7.0 points and 1.5 blocks in 11 March games. He could have his hands full Wednesday, however, when the Jazz head to Houston to take on Dwight Howard and the Rockets.

Gobert posted nine points (4-6 FG, 1-2 FT), 16 rebounds and three blocks over 30 minutes in Thursday's 103-69 victory over the Suns.

Despite his sixth straight single-digit scoring effort, Gobert dominated on the glass once again. He's now tallied seven double-digit rebound games over the last eight, and is averaging a robust 13.3 boards per game over his nine March contests.

That's back-to-back 18-rebound performances for Gobert, who has been averaging a monstrous 15.0 rebounds and 2.6 blocks over his last five games. While he only managed two shots Saturday, scoring is simply an added bonus when he's putting up rebounding numbers like this. Either way, he's been averaging 10.5 points over this five game tear.

Gobert provided 13 points (3-5 FG, 7-10 FT), 18 rebounds, and five blocks in 38 minutes during the Jazz's 94-88 loss to the Grizzlies on Friday.

EDGE Analysis

Gobert was solid Friday, and he has been playing well despite the team's recent five-game skid. During these last five outings, Gobert is averaging 11 points, 12.6 rebounds, 2.4 blocks, 0.8 steals, and 0.6 assists across 33 minutes per game. The Jazz are right back in action on Saturday versus Anthony Davis and the Pelicans, who have proven to be a lackluster defensive squad over the course of the season.

Gobert posted 12 points (4-8 FG, 4-10 FT), 19 rebounds, a steal and six blocks across 35 minutes in Saturday's 98-96 loss to the Nets.

EDGE Analysis

The Stifle Tower unsurprisingly dominated on the glass against the Nets' vulnerable frontcourt, hauling in a season high in boards. The six blocks were also his second-best total in that category on the season, and impressively marked the fourth time in February that he's recorded at least four rejections in a game. Gobert rounded out the successful night with his first double-digit scoring performance in the last four games, and is largely developing into one of the most dominant young centers in the league. While his scoring upside is still limited, the 23-year-old continues to serve as one of the most reliable sources of rebounds in any fantasy format.
