Gobert and Marc Gasol engaged in an entertaining battle down low that more or less could be declared a draw. The Stifle Tower did just narrowly miss posting a second straight double-double, and sixth in the last eight contests. Despite a slight downturn on the glass in recent games, Gobert is still averaging a season-best 13.8 rebounds in January.

Gobert went for nine points (3-6 FG, 3-4 FT), 13 rebounds and six blocks over 38 minutes in Thursday's 96-88 win over the Lakers.

The Stifle Tower lived up to his rim-protecting reputation Thursday, with his six blocks equaling a season high. He fell just short of his seventh straight double-digit scoring effort, but did manage to get back into double digits in the rebounding column after a very rare two-game stretch where he'd failed to accomplish the feat. With modest but consistent involvement on the offensive end and superb work on the glass, Gobert remains an excellent option in all formats.

Gobert contributed 12 points (5-8 FG, 2-7 FT), nine rebounds, one assist and four blocks over 36 minutes in Monday's 97-95 loss to the Thunder.

The Stifle Tower met his match in one Steven Adams on Monday. Gobert's scoring total was his lowest over the last five games, and Monday's contest also served as his first with single-digit rebounds since Nov. 20. The Frenchman even endured his worst night from the foul line in January, as he'd managed no worse than a 40 percent success rate in the 11 games prior. Despite the modest production Monday, Gobert is averaging a solid 13.9 points, 14.6 rebounds, 1.0 assists, 2.4 blocks and 0.9 steals across 35.5 minutes in 12 contests this month.

Gobert managed 19 points (8-10 FG, 3-5 FT), 11 rebounds and a block over 33 minutes in Saturday's 109-100 victory over the Pacers.

The Stifle Tower couldn't quite replicate his career 27-point, 25-rebound double-double from Friday night, but certainly turned in another strong effort overall. It was Gobert's fifth double-double in the last six games, and he's now averaging 14.1 points, 15.1 rebounds, 1.0 assists, 2.3 blocks and 1.0 steals across 35.5 minutes in 11 January contests.

Gobert posted 27 points (8-11 FG, 11-17 FT), 25 rebounds, two blocked shots, an assist and a steal in Friday's 112-107 win against the Mavericks.

The points and rebounds were each career highs, and he is averaging a robust 21.3 points, 20.3 rebounds and 2.7 blocked shots per game over the past three outings. He extended his streak with 10 or more rebounds to 29 consecutive games. While his point totals can sometimes be erratic, that hasn't been a problem lately.

Gobert has 28 consecutive games with 10 or more rebounds, and he has at least one blocked shot in 12 straight outings. His point totals can be somewhat erratic, but he has emerged as a must-start across all fantasy formats for his boards and swats.

The Stifle Tower lived up to the moniker Saturday, helping contain Nikola Vucevic to half of the 30 points he'd put up against the Blazers on Friday while also logging a season-high amount of rebounds. Gobert also continued his recent stretch of success from the foul line, and is now shooting 71.1 percent from the charity stripe over eight January contests. He also extended his streak of double-digit rebound efforts to 27 games, and already has five double-doubles since the calendar flipped to 2017.

Gobert contributed 11 points (5-7 FG, 1-1 FT), 14 rebounds, three steals, one assist and one block across 36 minutes during a 100-92 victory against the Cavaliers on Tuesday.

EDGE Analysis

Gobert attained his fifth double-double in the last seven games and tallied three steals for the second straight contest. He grabbed another 14 rebounds and sits at fifth in the league on the season at 12.3 rebounds per game. He is also tied with Anthony Davis for the league-lead in blocks with an average of 2.5 per game and he has blocked at least one shot in the last nine games.

Gobert posted 15 points (3-10 FG, 9-10 FT), 16 rebounds and three blocks in 35 minutes during Thursday's 101-93 loss to Toronto.

EDGE Analysis

Gobert is absolutely annihliating opponents on the glass. In fact, he's only failed to record double-digit rebounds six times the entire season. His free-throw percentage is also sitting at a career high 66.5 percent, and he's averaging a career high in blocks as well. Fantasy owners should be ecstatic with his production thus far.

Gobert scored eight points (3-8 FG, 2-2 FT) while adding a game-high 13 rebounds and a block in 34 minutes during Tuesday's 115-104 loss to the Celtics.

EDGE Analysis

It's his 21st straight game with double-digit boards, a streak that stretches back into late November. Gobert is now fifth in the league in rebounds per game at 12.1, second in blocks at 2.55 per game and, despite his poor shooting Tuesday, is firmly in first place in field goal percentage at 68.1 percent. His overall offensive game is still limited mainly to dunks and putbacks, but the 24-year-old has emerged as a very valuable fantasy asset this season.
