Gobert is a double-double machine, notching his 45th of the year on Wednesday. He ranks fourth in the league in double-doubles so far this season and is fifth in the league in rebounds per game with a 12.8 average per contest. Gobert and Clint Capela battled mightily in this matchup but Gobert and the Jazz prevailed to win their fourth straight. The Jazz will visit the Thunder on Saturday, and Gobert has double-doubled every time he's faced Oklahoma City this season, so it's reasonable to expect a similar result from one of the league's premier big men.

Sacramento certainly missed Boogie Cousins in this one, as Gobert not only pulled down more rebounds than the top two Kings combined, he tipped in the winning basket at the buzzer on a George Hill air ball. The 24-year-old Frenchman also extended his streak of games with multiple blocks to seven, which remarkably isn't even his longest such streak of the season -- he reeled off 11 straight multi-swat games in late November and early December.

It's the second time this season Gobert has grabbed 20 or more boards, and he's recorded double-digit boards in an incredible 42 of his last 44 games, pushing him into the top five in the league in rebounds per game.

The towering center is particularly valuable when he remains aggressive on the offensive end, which he's most recently demonstrated by taking a combined 29 shots over the last three contests.

Just another double-double for the Stifle Tower, who's now accomplished the feat in consecutive games and four of the last six contests overall. Gobert is averaging 13.2 rebounds and 2.2 blocks over the first four games of February, as he continues to be one of the most dominant rim protectors in the league. He's been a bit more involved on the offensive end lately as well, averaging 9.5 shots over the last two games following a stretch where he put six or less attempts in four of five contests. While his scoring will inevitably fluctuate, Gobert's work on the glass and on defense renders him a valuable asset in any format.

Gobert posted 10 points (4-10 FG, 2-2 FT), 16 rebounds, three assists and two blocks in 30 minutes Wednesday during a 127-94 win.

EDGE Analysis

Gobert finished with his first double double in three games Wednesday. He dominated the glass, particularly on the offensive end where he grabbed seven boards. He didn't shoot particularly well, and the refs might have swallowed their whistles a few times when Gobert muscled his way to the rim with the ball, but still a solid night overall for the Frenchman.

He feasted around the rim and didn't shy away from contact, earning several trips from the free-throw line where he shot well. Gobert also tore up the glass, grabbing his highest offensive-rebound total in five games.
