Rasheed Wallace scored seven points off the bench on Friday, hitting 3-of-5 shots (including a three) with four rebounds and a steal in 17 minutes. Wallace had a run of providing mid-round value, but over the past week he has been well off the standard league radar. This could be the pattern all season until he gets hurt, as he gets hot and cold in a low-minute role for the Knicks.

Rasheed Wallace hit just 2-of-11 shots in Monday's overtime loss, scoring six points with eight rebounds, one assist, one steal, and two 3-point buckets in 23 minutes off the bench. Wallace has been a mid-to-late round value over his past five games, averaging 19.4 minutes, 9.4 points, 1.8 threes, 6.0 boards, 0.8 steals, 0.8 blocks, and 35.6 percent of his shots. There is plenty of age and injury risk here, but it's hard to argue with the numbers. The Knicks are clearly content to let him fire shots up.

Rasheed Wallace (foot) played well off the bench in 22 minutes with a season-high 15 points, adding one steal, one block and three 3-pointers against the Pistons on Sunday. This was the second time in the last three games where Sheed was in double figures in scoring while hitting three triples. It's not crazy to think he might have some low-level value in deeper leagues while Amare Stoudemire (knee) is on the mend.

Rasheed Wallace (foot) will play on Sunday. Wallace has been surprisingly effective in around 15 minutes per game, and his presence almost ensures that Marcus Camby will pick up another healthy DNP-CD.

Rasheed Wallace's sore foot "sounds as if it could be plantar fasciitis," according to beat writer Marc Berman. Berman is speculating, but this is worth keeping an eye on since Sheed has emerged with a significant role for the Knicks, and his absence would open up playing time for other guys. He's listed as questionable to play on Sunday.

Rasheed Wallace will miss Friday's game with a sore left foot. This shouldn't have any fantasy impacts, but Wallace has been playing better than we expected him to thus far.

Rasheed Wallace scored 11 points on 4-of-9 shooting with seven rebounds, two steals, and one block in 18 minutes off the bench on Wednesday against the Mavs. Don't look now but over his last five games, Sheed is averaging 18.4 minutes, 9.8 points, 1.2 threes, 5.6 boards, 0.8 steals, 1.4 blocks, 0.6 turnovers, and averages of 45 percent from the field and 83 percent from the line. His role and health are going to be tenuous at best, but he's worth a look as long as owners know the risks ahead of time.

Rasheed Wallace scored a season-high 13 points on Friday, hitting 6-of-10 shots (no threes) with four rebounds, one assist, one steal, and three blocks in 24 minutes. This game had a garbage-time element to it late, and Sheed also made sure that there was plenty of trash talk. We have serious reservations about his ability to both produce and stay healthy, so owners should wait until we see him do it again before discussing Wallace as a fantasy option.

Rasheed Wallace has missed his past 13 attempts from 3-point territory, but Mike Woodson continues to give him a green light. On Tuesday, Wallace was 0-for-5 on 3-pointers, but still played fourteen minutes while Marcus Camby was in for less than four minutes. "He had great looks," Woodson said. "I'll put my money every time on Rasheed on that shot when he's wide open. He'll start to make them." Wallace should continue to provide entertainment value, but offers nothing in the fantasy realm.

Rasheed Wallace played three minutes in the Knicks' season opener on Friday. Wallace won't have any fantasy value this season, but he'll have tremendous value to the entire NBA as a walking, talking quote machine.
