Rasheed Wallace (foot) was finally able to resume running in Thursday's practice. There is still no timetable for Sheed's return, and the signing of Kenyon Martin could be an indication that the Knicks are skeptical of either Wallace or Marcus Camby (foot) helping the team this season.

Rasheed Wallace, who has been day-to-day since December with his foot injury, is finally expected to return to practice on Tuesday. We've heard this before with Sheed, so we're not buying into it just yet. The veteran is not expected to play on Wednesday, and if he winds up aggravating his injury in practice, the Knicks will probably hit the free agent market for a potential replacement. If and when Wallace does play, he's not expected to eclipse 10 minutes per contest.

Coach Mike Woodson says Rasheed Wallace (foot) likely won't play more than nine to 10 minutes a night when he returns. Wallace was averaging almost 15 minutes per game before his "day-to-day" injury sidelined him for two months. Sheed could resume practicing with the Knicks after the All-Star break, but Woodson conceded Thursday that Wallace will "never be 100 percent." Whatever value Wallace had during the early part of the season is gone and is unlikely to return.

Coach Mike Woodson is hoping Rasheed Wallace (foot) will be able to practice Tuesday when the Knicks return from the All-Star break. As of Monday, Wallace had yet to begin running, so he'll likely need some rapid progress between now and Tuesday in order to practice. Even if he does work with the team Tuesday, Sheed still has yet to be cleared for contact work, which he'll need to do before playing in a game. Woodson is much less optimistic about Marcus Camby (foot), who remains without a return timetable.

Rasheed Wallace (foot) is still not doing contact work, and the "next phase" in his rehab will be Wallace running and resuming contact drills. The fact that Wallace isn't even running yet shows the humor behind Sheed's "day-to-day" tag, but we all knew he was going to be out for an extended period. The team will reportedly assess the veteran after the All-Star break, and "if things aren't looking good," the Knicks could be in the free agent market for a backup big man.

Rasheed Wallace (foot) said Wednesday he hopes to practice next week. Wallace has been "day-to-day" since Dec. 15, but it's been obvious for quite some time that his injury was far more serious than the Knicks let on. Coach Mike Woodson admitted recently that 'Sheed is unlikely to be 100 percent at any point this season, but he hopes Wallace will be "good enough to give us some productive minutes." For his part, Wallace said Wednesday it's "killing him" not to be out there, but that doesn't change the fact that he'll have no impact in fantasy formats.

Rasheed Wallace (foot), who is expected to return to practice after the All-Star break, is unlikely to be 100 percent healthy at any point this season. Wallace has been listed as day-to-day since December 15 with his foot injury. "I think he'll be good enough to give us some productive minutes but he'll never play real big minutes," Mike Woodson said of Wallace. Obviously, that minute allotment is not going to make an impact in any fantasy league.

Rasheed Wallace (foot) could return after the All-Star break, according to Mike Woodson. As pointed out by Frank Isola of the Daily News, a return later this month would mean Sheed has been officially day-to-day for well over two months. He's not expected to play more than 10 minutes per game when he does return.

Rasheed Wallace (foot) is not expected to practice this week. This goes against a statement from Mike Woodson, who expected Wallace back this week. At this point, we'll be surprised if he's back before the All-Star break.

Rasheed Wallace (foot) is expected to return to practice this week. The NY Post speculates that Wallace's return could impact Amare Stoudemire's minutes, but that really shouldn't be the case. STAT has been playing well in his bench role while the Knicks will do anything and everything to keep Wallace healthy the rest of the year.
