Cook will come off the bench Saturday against the Pistons in Steph Curry's return, Rod Beard of The Detroit News reports.
EDGE Analysis
As expected, with Curry returning from injury, Cook will resume his usual role off the bench. As a reserve this season, Cook has averaged 8.7 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 15.4 minutes.

Cook registered eight points (3-10 FG, 2-6 3Pt), six rebounds, four assists, one steal and one block across 32 minutes in the Warriors' 116-110 win over the Magic on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Cook was able to check off every box on the stat sheet, but inefficient shooting prevented his night from being much bigger. The third-year guard has now scored in single digits in three of the past four games, and he's made just five of his 21 attempts over the last pair of contests. Irrespective of any shooting struggles, Cook remains aggressive, as he's put up between four and eight tries from three-point range in each of his last eight outings.

Cook tallied seven points (3-8 FG, 1-4 3Pt), six assists, five rebounds and one steal across 33 minutes in the Warriors' 123-95 loss to the Thunder on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
The young point guard wasn't sharp from the field, which led to a scoring downturn after he'd posted double-digit point tallies in the prior four games. Despite the reduced production Wednesday, Cook has been solid in Stephen Curry's (groin) stead, and he continues to naturally enjoy enhanced fantasy value as long as the latter is sidelined. Even with Wednesday's sub-40 percent effort from the field, Cook is still draining an impressive 54.2 percent of his attempts in nine November contests.

Cook provided 16 points (7-12 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 1-2 FT), eight rebounds, two assists and one steal across 29 minutes Sunday in the Warriors' 104-92 loss to the Spurs.
EDGE Analysis
Cook has split time between the starting five and the bench during Stephen Curry's (groin) ongoing six-game absence and has generally been effective in either capacity, averaging 15.7 points (on 54.9 percent shooting), 3.3 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 2.2 three-pointers in 26.8 minutes per contest during that stretch. He's worked with the second unit for each of the past three games, so it appears that's where Cook will settle for now while Andre Iguodala fills in as the starting point guard. The bench role might actually be a more ideal arrangement for fantasy purposes while Curry is out, as Cook can more frequently act as a primary scoring option rather than having to defer to Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson more frequently as a member of the starting five. Regardless of how coach Steve Kerr elects to deploy his lineups for the foreseeable future, Cook should be worth rostering in most formats so long as he regularly sees around 25-to-30 minutes while Curry is out.

Cook netted 18 points (8-18 FG, 2-7 3Pt), six assists and four rebounds across 34 minutes in the Warriors' 110-103 win over the Hawks on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
After a lackluster seven-point showing in Monday's overtime loss to the Clippers, Cook bounced back to post his fourth double-digit scoring effort of the last five games. The 25-year-old bumped up his offensive involvement considerably after taking only seven shot attempts versus Los Angeles, as the 18 tries he put up Tuesday qualified as a season high. Cook's starting tenure will naturally come to an end once Stephen Curry (groin) returns, but he's certainly providing plenty of short-term value in both season-long and daily formats at the moment.

Cook tallied 27 points (11-16 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five assists, three rebounds, and one steal in 29 minutes during Saturday's 116-100 victory over Brooklyn.
EDGE Analysis
Cook started for the injured Stephen Curry (groin) and went off for a season-high 27 points including three triples. Cook has shown before that he is fully capable of stepping into Curry's shoes when needed and this occasion proved no different. If Curry is forced to miss additional time, Cook becomes a must roster player in all leagues.

Cook will start Saturday's game against the Nets, Anthony Slater of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
With Stephen Curry (thigh) out, Cook will take over the reins at point guard. Curry's MRI was "encouraging", so he likely won't be out for too long. Still, it's possible Cook holds fantasy value for the upcoming week. When seeing between 30-39 minutes last season, Cook averaged 15.4 points, 4.8 assists and 4.1 rebounds.

Cook managed 15 points (6-9 FG, 3-5 3Pt), five assists and two rebounds across 19 minutes in the Warriors' 134-111 loss to the Bucks on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
With Stephen Curry exiting the game for good with an adductor muscle injury midway through the third quarter, Cook saw extended opportunity and produced with it. It isn't unfamiliar territory for the third-year pro, who proved highly capable of manning the starting point guard position last season for multi-game stretches when Curry dealt with lower leg injuries. That scenario could be looming once again, as the All-Star appears likely to miss at least a handful of games, with further confirmation on his status forthcoming.

Cook delivered 13 points (4-8 FG, 4-5 3Pt, 1-1 FT), seven rebounds and one assist across 19 minutes in the Warriors' 117-101 win over the Grizzlies on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Cook was highly efficient on a per-minute basis, leading to his second-highest point total of the season. As he demonstrated last season when filling in for Stephen Curry for extended stretches, Cook is highly capable of providing solid production across the stat sheet. However, his playing time is highly unpredictable when Curry is healthy, as evidenced by the fact that he's already received three DNP-CDs and logged single-digit minutes in three other contests over the first 11 games of the season.

Cook posted 20 points (6-14 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 7-7 FT), four assists and one rebound across 30 minutes in the Warriors' 119-105 preseason loss to the Lakers on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Cook not only contributed the most points on the Warriors' second unit, he also was responsible for getting Lance Stephenson tossed from the contest after a scuffle. The third-year point pro has been solid this preseason, but given Stephen Curry's typically elevated minutes and the presence of trusted veteran Shaun Livingston on the roster as well, what his exact allotment of minutes will be once the regular season begins remains up in the air.
