Cook totaled 11 points (4-8 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two assists, one rebound and one steal across 18 minutes during the Warriors' 117-109 preseason loss to the Suns on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Cook has now upped his scoring totals in each exhibition, with Monday's performance marking his sharpest shooting tally through three preseason games. The third-year guard was a revelation last season during an extended starting stint due to Stephen Curry's knee problems, and he figures to serve as a key component of the backcourt rotation again this season alongside veteran Shaun Livingston.

Cook netted 11 points (4-4 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 1-1 FT) and added two steals across five minutes in Golden State's 126-85 win over the Rockets in Game 3 of their Western Conference Finals playoff series Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Cook once again produced off the bench at a jaw-dropping rate, racking up an impressive scoring total relative to a very modest amount of playing time. The second-year guard had also logged just five minutes in Game 2 last Wednesday, yet he'd produced a quick seven points in that contest as well. Naturally, the minuscule amount of playing time he's seeing makes Cook highly risky as a DFS punt play in postseason contests, but he undeniably carries some scoring upside due to his aggressive approach.

Cook poured in seven points (2-3 FG, 1-2 3Pt) and hauled in one rebound in just five minutes during Golden State's 127-105 loss to the Rockets in Game 2 of their Western Conference Finals playoff series.
EDGE Analysis
Cook saw fellow backup point guard Shaun Livingston outpace him in minutes by 13, but he still outpaced his teammate in scoring. The 25-year-old's point total led the second unit, and on a night where several front-line players outside of Kevin Durant struggled with their shot, he actually checked in fourth overall in scoring behind the team's Big Three of Durant, Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson. Despite the efficient performance Wednesday, it's important to note for DFS purposes that Cook logged just five minutes in Game 2, and that he'd been the recipient of a DNP-CD in Game 1. His role is likely to fluctuate from game to game in the series, making him a risky play all the way around.

Cook mustered 11 points (4-9 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 3-4 FT), three rebounds and three assists across 22 minutes during Golden State's 123-101 win over the Pelicans in Game 1 of their Western Conference second-round playoff series.
EDGE Analysis
Cook opened the second round in strong fashion, posting his second double-digit scoring effort over six playoff games. The 25-year-old equaled his highest number of shot attempts in the postseason thus far, but he may be see his minutes take a hit beginning with Tuesday's Game 2. Stephen Curry (knee) is slated to return to the starting lineup, which figures to equate to fewer opportunities off the bench for Cook behind veteran Shaun Livingston, who has considerable playoff experience and could therefore serve as Curry's primary backup.

Cook tallied 12 points (5-9 FG, 2-5 3Pt), three rebounds, one assist and one steal across 21 minutes during Golden State's 110-97 win over the Spurs in Game 3 of their Western Conference first-round playoff series.
EDGE Analysis
Cook saw three additional minutes over that of Game 2 partly due to Shaun Livingston suffering an ankle injury. The second-year guard made good use of his time on the court, turning in a series-high scoring total while vaulting his shooting mark over 50.0 percent for the first time in three games against the Spurs. Livingston is reportedly expected to be fine for Sunday's Game 4, so Cook's minutes are likely to revert back to just under the 20-minute mark for that contest.

Cook had just five points (2-7 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT), four rebounds, two assists and one block in 25 minutes during Saturday's 113-92 victory over San Antonio.
EDGE Analysis
Cook moved to the bench with Coach Steve Kerr opting to start with Andre Iguodala. Cook saw reduced playing time as a consequence, putting up just five points in 25 minutes. Cook has been spectacular as a fill-in for Steph Cury (knee) and it will be interesting to see whether this move sticks for the rest of the first-round matchup.

Cook will come off the bench for Saturday's Game 1 against the Spurs, Shams Charania of Yahoo Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Coach Steve Kerr is opting to throw a veteran presence in the starting five, slotting in Andre Iguodala at point guard. It's unclear if the move will drastically affect Cook's playing time.

Cook tallied just eight points (2-8 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 3-4 FT), four rebounds and one assist in 33 minutes during Tuesday's 119-79 loss to Utah.
EDGE Analysis
Cook had his lowest scoring game in a number of weeks, finishing with just eight points and not much else. The Jazz can have this effect on players and owners cannot be complaining after the boost Cook has given many teams down the stretch. Steph Curry (knee) is still a little while away from returning and Cook should get a chance to show what he can do in the first round of the playoffs.

Cook produced 14 points (6-13 FG, 2-5 3Pt), six rebounds and three assists across 37 minutes in Sunday's 117-100 win over the Suns.
EDGE Analysis
Fresh off signing a fully guaranteed two-year contract earlier in the day, Cook commemorated the occasion with another strong effort in place of Stephen Curry (knee). The second-year guard pushed his April averages to 15.6 points, 5.6 assists and 3.8 rebounds over a five-game sample with his performance, which included his 14th consecutive double-digit scoring effort.

Cook has agreed to a multi-year contract extension with the Warriors, Shams Charania of Yahoo! Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Cook, who was originally ineligible to take part in the postseason because he was playing on a two-way contract, will be upgraded to a fully-guaranteed, two-year deal with Golden State. That allows him to play with the Warriors at the start of the playoffs, which is key considering Steph Curry (knee) may not be ready for the start of the first round. In 15 starts this season, Cook has averaged a solid 14.7 points, 3.5 rebounds and 4.0 assists across 32.3 minutes, so it's a well deserved promotion from the surprising youngster. In the corresponding move to make room for Cook, the Warriors are opting to release Omri Casspi.
