Patrick Beverley is a game-time decision to face the Wizards on Wednesday due to an abdominal strain. He's been logging big minutes and is taking a lot more shots lately for the Rockets. There was no word of an injury prior to this report and we should know more when the team warms up. The Rockets will definitely want Beverley in the lineup against John Wall, so his owners will want to check back later.

Patrick Beverley scored 14 points with five boards, two assists, three steals and four 3-pointers against the Wolves on Wednesday. He had one of the worst usage rates among any point guard before his wrist injury and it really hasn't been much better. The big difference has been his 3-point shooting, which accounts for most of his scoring since the injury. He should steal enough to be worth owning in most leagues while everything else is more of a bonus.

Patrick Beverley managed to miss all five of his shots and failed to score on Saturday, but also racked up 10 rebounds, eight assists, a career-high five steals and a block. Weird. Beverley became the first NBA player to tally 10 rebounds, eight dimes and five steals without scoring a point since steals became an official stat in 1973. He's not the type of player that is going to carry your fantasy team, but as long as he's starting, he's putting up enough numbers in enough categories to help your team more than he hurts.

Patrick Beverley hit 4-of-8 shots and a 3-pointer for 11 points, five rebounds, three assists and two steals. He's still not really looking for his shots, even on nights when James Harden sits, as he did tonight with a thumb injury. But as long as Beverley is starting, he's still worth hanging onto in most leagues, as he'll contribute in most categories on most nights. But if you're looking for a big scorer, he's not your guy.

Patrick Beverley hit just 1-of-11 shots in Friday's loss to the Grizzlies, finishing with three points, three rebounds, two assists and one block in 34 minutes. Beverley made his one make count as a 3-pointer and it says something about his awesome defense when he can stay in a game when the average fan has a better chance of hitting a shot. At this point owners should simply hope for him to hang around the ball on offense, as he'll probably hit about 40 percent of his shots at any rate and he needs to get involved on that end to have any real value. He's not a must-own player but has potential in his versatility.

Patrick Beverley hit just 2-of-9 shots for six points, but also added six rebounds, eight assists, two steals, a block and a 3-pointer in Wednesday's win. He's been back for two games and has played pretty well in both of them, although his shot obviously wasn't falling tonight. But at least he was shooting it and has attempted 20 shots over his last two games. And that's good news, as he had just seven games previously where he attempted at least 10 shots this season.

Patrick Beverley provided a huge spark for the Rockets in the starting lineup in his return on Monday, scoring 17 points, three assists, one steal and three 3-pointers in 29 minutes. Things could't have gone much better in his first game since Dec. 20 due to a broken hand. His 17 points were tied for his second most on the season and he was in Damian Lillard's hip pocket throughout the game. We've seen a lot out of Beverley and it's been mostly disappointing, so we don't want to totally overreact and send you running to the wire. That said, he does have season averages of 1.3 steals and 1.4 triples, so there could be some upside if the Rockets increase his 8.3 shots per game.

Patrick Beverley (hand) was getting shots up and looked "good" at Sunday practice, according to the Houston Chronicle. He will return to the lineup on Monday after missing 30 days with a fractured hand. Beverley confirmed the report of his return on his Twitter account and he'll have his hands full against Damian Lillard. He's a very good bet to move into the starting lineup and push Jeremy Lin to the bench. The Rockets could have some changes to their rotation, but they're likely going to count on their frontcourt to provide a scoring boost next to superstar James Harden. Beverley is worth a look as long as you're not cutting someone reliable.

Patrick Beverley (hand) will return to the lineup on Monday night against the Blazers, according to Yahoo! Sports. The timing can't be much better for the Rockets as they'll face one of the league's best offensive point guards in Damian Lillard. Reggie Jackson turned Jeremy Lin and Aaron Brooks into human turnstiles on Thursday night and the Rockets' lack of perimeter defense has cost them some games. While the move certainly helps the Rockets, it's not huge news in fantasy. He ranks dead last in usage rate among point guards getting 20 minutes per game. He's not a must-add player due to inconsistent offensive numbers.

Patrick Beverley is targeting a return to the lineup next week, according to the Houston Chronicle. "We'll see," Beverley said. "I don't have control of that. That's (up to) the coaches and medical staff. I've been working tremendously off the court, getting stronger." He'll have another exam next week and will need to be cleared. Beverley's X-ray from Tuesday showed his hand is ahead of schedule and he's been back to working out. Fantasy owners were probably a little frustrated by his low usage rate, so he's not a terrific stash option.
