Patrick Beverley stated in a recent interview that he's not afraid to play aggressive defensive even when in foul trouble.
"I fouled out of two games... but I am going to keep playing aggressive. That is how I play." While Beverley's offensive numbers don't always jump off the page, his aggressive defense has helped Houston to a 40-19 record and the fifth seed in the West. Patrick averaged 8.8 points, 4.0 boards, 3.4 assists, 1.9 steals, 0.6 blocks and 1.6 triples during the month of February, numbers that make for a solid low-end option in most leagues.

Patrick Beverley's improved offensive output continued on Saturday with 19 points, five boards, three assists, one steal, one block and five 3-pointers vs. the Pistons.
He matched his career high with the treys and his long-range shot has really transformed. Beverley shot 40.0 percent in the month of February to go with averages of 8.8 points, 4.0 boards, 3.4 assists, 1.9 steals, 0.6 blocks and 1.6 triples on 41.2 percent from the field and 90.0 percent from the line. His improved outside shooting makes him a must-own player in standard formats.

Patrick Beverley (jaw) went through Saturday's shootaround and he'll be in the starting lineup vs. the Pistons.
He was hit during Friday's practice but this confirms that the injury wasn't serious. He finished February with averages of 8.8 points, 1.6 threes, 4.0 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 1.9 steals, numbers good enough for use in most formats.

Patrick Beverley was hit in the jaw at practice on Friday and is expected to be fine.
There is no word as to how bad he got hit, but this doesn't sound like something that will keep him out of the lineup on Saturday. Beverley's shot from distance has really buoyed his production and he's worth owning in all standard leagues even though it does seem a bit fluky.

Patrick Beverley had just five points, two rebounds, zero assists, a steal and a 3-pointer on 2-of-4 shooting in Tuesday's easy win over the Kings.
Don't freak out, as the Rockets were up 42-17 after the first quarter, turning to their bench for much of the game. Beverley hit a big 3-pointer to win Sunday's game and should bounce back against the Clippers on Wednesday.

Pat Beverley hit a huge 3-pointer in the corner with 34 seconds left to lead the Rockets to a 115-112 win at Phoenix on Sunday, finishing with 20 points, three boards, three assists, three steals and one 3-pointer on 6-of-12 shooting.
His long-range shot has turned around quickly as of late and he's become an offensive option for the Rockets. In his last four games, Beverley shot 38.9 percent from deep to go with averages of 11.5 points, 4.0 boards, 3.3 assists, 2.3 steals and 1.8 triples. He was a nightmare to own earlier this year, but there's really no way he can be left on the wire with numbers like those.

Patrick Beverley fouled out against the Warriors on Thursday, finishing with two points, five boards, three steals and one turnover.
He shot 1-of-6 from the field in his worst statistical game since returning from his hand injury. Beverley was in Stephen Curry's hip pocket all night and the quiet offensive night will not impact his playing time whatsoever. He's probably not going to be as good as he was earlier this month, but his owners shouldn't press the panic button after one bad game.

Patrick Beverley returned from an abdominal injury on Wednesday with 10 points, three boards, five assists, three steals and two 3-pointers in 29 minutes.
His abdomen injury only cost him one game and his negative MRI from last week was confirmed tonight by some solid play. Beverley's numbers in his last four games are sneaky good, averaging 11.8 points, 3.8 assists, 2.0 steals and 2.8 triples in 29.8 minutes. He's not a complete lock to stay hot, but he's worth owning in standards for the output in steals and treys.

Patrick Beverley's abdominal strain shouldn't keep him out long and he's expected to play against the Lakers next Wednesday, Houston's first game after the All-Star break.
"MRI came back solid," Beverley said. "I just don't want to make it worse than it already is. I just felt a lot of pain today." Jeremy Lin is starting in his place tonight, but it sounds like Beverley should be good to go just after the break.

Pat Beverley (ab strain) is not expected to play against the Wizards on Wednesday.
This is a tough blow for the Rockets against Wizards and they'll have to use Jeremy Lin and Aaron Brooks on defense against John Wall, which could be a problem. There is no word on the severity of Beverley's strain, but considering he hasn't officially been ruled out, he should be ready after the break.
