Patrick Beverley (illness) said that he will play in Sunday's Game 4.
Rockets coach Kevin McHale also expects Beverley to play so he should be in the starting lineup, keeping Jeremy Lin in his typical bench role. Houston is desperate to even the series at 2-2 and Beverley was critical to their Game 3 victory, so this is great news for Rockets fans.

Patrick Beverley (illness) did not attend shootaround on Sunday because he was not feeling well.
There's no word yet on his status, but chances are he'll play. Beverley is a tough customer and has played through injuries and also returned quickly from his knee injury earlier this month. If he's at less than 100 percent, the Rockets may have some trouble containing Damian Lilard. Game 4 is in Houston tonight and it should be a doozy.

Patrick Beverley (knee) will not be limited in Game 2 vs. the Blazers on Wednesday.
The Rockets need him badly because Jeremy Lin on Damian Lillard would cause countless defensive breakdowns. Beverley should still get all the run he can handle and his knee injury from Sunday seems to be behind him.

Rockets doctors determined that Patrick Beverley suffered no serious damage on Sunday, and he's reportedly been cleared to play in Wednesday's Game 2.
Beverley recently returned from a torn meniscus in the same knee which he sprained on Sunday, but fortunately he avoided any major setbacks. His pesky defense was missed by Houston down the stretch of Game 1, as Damian Lillard carried Portland once LaMarcus Aldridge fouled out. We should have a better idea of his status on Tuesday but early reports suggest he'll be in uniform on Wednesday.

Patrick Beverley will have an MRI on Monday after spraining his right knee during Sunday's game.
Beverley tore his right meniscus on March 27 but he was able to avoid surgery and return to action just two weeks later, and there is reportedly "a great deal of fear" that he's seriously aggravated his injury. He's questionable to play on Wednesday and if he can't suit up the Rockets will shift Jeremy Lin into the starting lineup.

Patrick Beverley returned from an extended absence with a knee injury on Saturday and hit 6-of-12 shots and four 3-pointers for 20 points, three rebounds, four assists, two steals and a block in a win over the Pelicans.
It would have been nice if Beverley had played like this all season, but he was pretty much a hit-or-miss kind of player, who mainly missed. As long as his knee feels OK in the morning, Beverley should continue to start and play well for the Rockets over the final few games. James Harden had 33 points and 13 dimes in the win, while Jeremy Lin added 18 points and four steals off the bench.

Patrick Beverley (knee) will be available for Saturday's game vs. the Pelicans.
It's unclear if Beverley will immediately reclaim the starting PG job from Jeremy Lin, but either way the job will be his in the near future. It will be interesting to see how many minutes the Rockets give him in their final three regular season games, especially since he's coming off a meniscus tear which didn't require surgery.

Patrick Beverley (knee) will not play in Friday's game against the Wolves.
Beverley is making rapid progress off his torn meniscus as he's stepped up recent workouts and is considered questionable for Saturday. Owners steaming in Jeremy Lin should be monitoring closely.

Patrick Beverley (knee) will not play against the Nuggets on Wednesday.
He has a torn meniscus and doesn't have a timetable to return. Beverley is not going to have surgery to repair the tear, but he's still a longshot to make it back for the rest of the regular season.

Patrick Beverley (torn meniscus) will sit out again on Tuesday.
Beverley didn't require surgery after injuring himself on March 27, and he's vowed to return before the end of the regular season. He'll get five more chances to do so, beginning Wednesday at Denver. In the meantime Jeremy Lin and Isaiah Canaan will hold down the PG spot, with plenty of playmaking opportunities are available for James Harden.
