Speights agreed to a deal with the Clippers Friday, Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical reports.
EDGE Analysis
Size and scoring were two needs the Clippers needed to address this offseason, and in signing Speights, they have essentially done both. Coming off a year where he shot 39 percent from behind the arc, Speights proved that he can be a versatile floor spacer in the frontcourt, which is something the Clippers have severely lacked the past couple of seasons. The 28-year-old should find a legitimate role in Los Angeles' rotation as both a power forward and center so long as he continues to be accurate from deep.

Speights finished with zero points (0-6 FG, 0-3 3Pt), three rebounds, two assists, and one steal across 11 minutes during the Warriors' 112-97 loss to the Cavaliers in Monday's Game 5.
EDGE Analysis
After not receiving any playing time in Game 4 for the first time in the playoffs, Speights struggled badly in Game 5. With Andrew Bogut (knee) questionable for Thursday's Game 6, Speights might be in line to see double-digit minutes once again. However, if he isn't getting it done on offense, Speights offers very little on defense, and Warriors' coach Steve Kerr can just as easily turn to Anderson Varejao, Festus Ezeli, or James McAdoo. Furthermore, Draymond Green (suspension) may spend ample time at center, so it's tough to trust Speights--especially when he is averaging just six minutes per game in the NBA Finals.

Speights scored 14 points (4-7 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 5-5 FT) in just nine minutes Thursday night in Golden State's 120-111 win over Oklahoma City in Game 5 of the Western Conference Finals.
EDGE Analysis
For the second time in the series, Mo Buckets showed up for Golden State. He looked for his shot and played aggressive defense getting out out on the screen-and-rolls. He was on the floor for the beginning of the fourth quarter, a pivotal stretch, when the Warriors surged with an 8-0 run to extend their lead to double-digits. The bench has largely been invisible during the series, so it was good to see Speights, Andre Iguodala (eight points, eight assists) and Shaun Livingston (six points) provide some support for the starting unit. Speights and the Warriors head out to Oklahoma City for Saturday's Game 6, their second straight elimination game.

Speights contributed five points (2-7 FG, 1-2 3Pt) and four rebounds across nine minutes in Wednesday's 125-121 Game 5 win over the Trail Blazers.
EDGE Analysis
Andrew Bogut ended up missing the second half with a hip injury, but it didn't result in any increased action for Speights, as coach Steve Kerr primarily relied on Draymond Green and Festus Ezeli to fill the minutes at center. Speights didn't see more than 10 minutes in any of the five games during the series with the Trail Blazers, as most of the contests were competitive and necessitated that the Warriors' starters take on more minutes.

Speights scored a team-high 22 points (7-11 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 5-6 FT), four rebounds and a block over 18 minutes in Thursday's 101-85 Game 3 loss to the Rockets.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran big man was incredibly efficient over his modest time on the court, and managed to do a little bit of everything in the process. He even had his long-range shot dropping, and appeared honed in on taking a substantial degree of scoring responsibility on his shoulders with Stephen Curry (ankle) out for a second straight game. If Speights can maintain the aggression and effectiveness on offense that he displayed Thursday, the Warriors will even tougher to topple, regardless of Curry's status.

Speights finished with 16 points (5-11 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds and one assists over 15 minutes in Saturday's blowout win against the Rockets.
EDGE Analysis
With Stephen Curry going down early after shouldering the scoring load, the Warriors relied on whatever they could to produce points. Speights delivered, scoring eight of his 12 points in the second half. He'll probably see some decent time if they can keep winning by this margin, which is certainly possible.

Speights paced the Warriors reserves with 12 points (5-9 FG, 2-2 FT), four rebounds and two steals over 12 minutes in Wednesday's 125-104 season-ending victory over the Grizzlies.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran big man managed his first double-digit scoring effort since Mar. 27 versus the Sixers, as he's seen his role reduced once again with the recent return of Festus Ezeli from a toe injury. However, as he's abundantly proven in the past, Speights is often capable of generating solid offensive production in limited time on the court. His exact role in the postseason rotation is still up in the air, as the Warriors demonstrated in last season's playoff run that they were willing to significantly boost Andrew Bogut's minutes, and expand Ezeli's role off the bench as well.

Speights saw just nine minutes in Tuesday's 124-117 overtime loss to the Timberwolves, finishing with six points (3-5 FG) and one rebound.
EDGE Analysis
With Festus Ezeli (knee) playing in his second consecutive game and Andrew Bogut (ribs) returning to from a one-game absence, the Warriors were back at full strength in the frontcourt, which translated to limited action for Speights in a competitive game. Speights has seen no more than 13 minutes in any of the Warriors' last five games, and with the frontcourt now healthy, that will likely remain the upper limit of his playing time in non-blowouts.

Speights scored 17 points (7-10 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 1-1 FT) with seven rebounds and three assists in 20 minutes in Sunday's win over Philadelphia.
EDGE Analysis
A game against the 76ers late in the season is a chance to reduce playing time for the starters and that's exactly what happened Sunday. Andrew Bogut played just 13 minutes, so Speights received additional playing time. He went off during a nine-minute shift in the first half against the team that drafted him back in 2008. The 6-10 power forward made all six of his shots, including two three-pointers, while adding six rebounds and a pair of assists during the second quarter when Golden State established a lead that was never threatened. As head coach Steve Kerr looks to get more rest for Bogut down the stretch, Speights will be part of the fill-in crew.

Speights scored 13 points (6-8 FG, 1-2 3Pt) along with five rebounds, two assists, and a blocked shot in 17 minutes in Friday night's win over Dallas.
EDGE Analysis
The Mo Buckets renaissance continues. Speights has posted double-digit scoring in four consecutive games and five of the last six. During this run, the former Florida Gator is averaging 13.7 points on 57 percent shooting (31-for-54). Now, with the news that Andrew Bogut (toe) is doubtful to play Saturday against the Spurs, there might be a few extra minutes of run for Speights.
