Anderson provided two points (1-2 FG), eight rebounds, three assists, one steal and one block across 27 minutes in Thursday's 102-94 win over the Kings.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson remained in the starting lineup in place of the injured Danny Green (quad) for the second straight game, and while he turned in a better stat line than he provided in Tuesday's season-opening win over the Warriors, he's not seeing enough involvement as a shooter to gin up much interest in fantasy circle. While Anderson's lack of scoring may be a good thing for the Spurs given that Anderson profiles as more of a facilitator and lacks a reliable outside shot, it's not likely to give him much upside as a waiver-wire pickup. Jonathon Simmons, who scored 20 points in the opener and has also picked up more minutes thanks to Green's absence, looks like the more appealing fantasy option of the two.
