Richardson is out for Thursday's game against the Jazz and will likely sit Saturday's game against the Trail Blazers as well, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
EDGE Analysis
Richardson did not play in Wednesday's game against the Nuggets, and it is now believed that he will not return to action before the Heat's current road trip is finished. That puts his soonest possible return date at Dec. 6 against the Knicks at home. In the meantime, look for Tyler Johnson and the finally-healthy Wayne Ellington, who scored 22 points and hit 5-of-9 threes against Denver, to see increased playing time in the Heat's backcourt.

Richardson (ankle) is "very unlikely" to play in Wednesday's game against the Nuggets, but he'll be available off the bench, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reports.
EDGE Analysis
Richardson appears to have tweaked his ankle late Wednesday prior to the game and despite the Heat being short on bodies, he's unlikely to play. Richardson will still be available off the bench in an emergency situation, but as it currently stands, he's not expected to see the court. Richardson's absence likely means an even bigger workload for guys like Tyler Johnson, Wayne Ellington and Rodney McGruder.

Richardson is dealing with a tweaked ankle, but will still go through warmups with the intent to play in Wednesday's game against the Nuggets.
EDGE Analysis
It's unclear exactly when the injury occurred, but it doesn't sound all too serious and Richardson still expects to take the court. As long as he doesn't feel any excessive pain and/or swelling during warmups, look for him to take the floor, which would be a sigh of relief for a Heat team that is already dealing with a slew of injuries.

Richardson will play a reserve role in Monday's matchup against the Celtics, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
EDGE Analysis
Richardson has started the previous nine games at multiple positions based on the team's injury situation. It was expected that he would slide up to small forward and start for the sidelined Dion Waiters, but the Heat have decided to go big with Luke Babbitt at small forward. Richardson could still be in line for plenty of work with the second unit, as Tyler Johnson and the aforementioned Waiters will be out.

Richardson put up 15 points (5-12 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five assists and three rebounds across 29 minutes in Saturday's 110-107 loss to the Grizzlies.
EDGE Analysis
Following a pair of four-point outings in which he'd shot a combined 3-of-16 from the floor, Richardson seems to have gotten his act together over the last two contests, scoring 12 and 15 points, respectively, while handing out nine total assists. The assist production might take a hit once Goran Dragic (elbow) returns to run the point-guard spot, but so long as Justise Winslow (wrist) remains unavailable, Richardson should be locked into a high-minute (and high-volume) starting role on the wing.

Richardson provided 12 points (4-9 FG, 4-7 3Pt), four assists, three rebounds and one steal across 27 minutes in Friday's 90-81 win over the Grizzlies.
EDGE Analysis
Richardson moved over from shooting guard to make the start at point guard with Goran Dragic (elbow) sidelined, but still ended up seeing the bulk of his time off the ball while Tyler Johnson (33 minutes) ran the offense for most of the evening. The second-year player didn't really see his playing time affected by Dragic's absence, so that will likely remain the case if Dragic remains sidelined for Saturday's rematch with the Grizzlies. After getting off to a nice start in his return from a knee injury earlier this month, Richardson's productivity has taken a dip over the last four games. He's averaging just 8.8 points, 4.0 boards, 2.3 three-pointers and 1.8 assists in 27.5 minutes per contest, while shooting an ugly 33.3 percent from the floor.

Richardson delivered 18 points (7-19 FG, 4-11 3Pt), three rebounds and one assist across 32 minutes in Thursday's 96-73 win over the Bucks.
EDGE Analysis
Richardson had started the previous three games at point guard in place of the injured Goran Dragic (ankle), but slid over to shooting guard Thursday upon Dragic's return. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the move off the ball resulted in Richardson seeing a decline in his assist production, but the second-year player managed to fill it up from the perimeter. The 19 shot attempts were a season high, and he should continue to start and consistently pick up 30 or more minutes for as long as Justise Winslow (wrist) is sidelined.

Richardson scored 19 points (8-14 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT) while adding four rebounds, three blocks, two assists and two steals in 38 minutes during Tuesday's 93-90 loss to the Hawks.
EDGE Analysis
The 19 points were a season high for Richardson, who's quickly carving out a significant role for himself in the Heat's offense. Over the last four games, he's averaging 13.8 points, 2.5 assists, 2.3 boards, 1.3 threes, 1.3 steals and 1.3 blocks, and the second-year guard might be able to find another gear as he rounds into form after missing the beginning of the campaign with a knee injury.

Richardson is set to start at point guard Monday against the Spurs, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
EDGE Analysis
With Goran Dragic (ankle) out of action Saturday against the Jazz, Richardson started at point guard and finished with 12 points (6-16 FG, 0-3 3Pt), four assists, three rebounds and two steals in 33 minutes. Dragic will remain out Monday -- and perhaps longer -- so the Heat will stick with Richardson at point guard for the time being. Per coach Erik Spoelstra, Miami will employ the same starting lineup Monday as it used Saturday, so Richardson will be joined in the backcourt by Dion Waiters, who played only 19 minutes Saturday.

Richardson scored 12 points (6-16 FG, 0-3 3Pt) and added four assists, three rebounds, two steals and one block across 33 minutes in Saturday's 102-91 loss to the Jazz.
EDGE Analysis
Richardson, who's best utilized in an off-the-ball role, got the nod at point guard with Goran Dragic (ankle) sidelined, but struggled to create offense against an airtight Jazz defense. While Richardson's outing wasn't overly impressive, the fact that he's back to playing 30-plus minutes just over one week after returning from a knee injury suggests that he could be in line for an ample workload now that he's healthy again. With Dragic (ankle) already ruled out for Monday's game against the Spurs, Richardson figures to garner another start, and the second-year player should still be able to maintain his fantasy value when Dragic returns by cutting into Dion Waiters' minutes at shooting guard.
