Richardson started and posted nine points (2-12 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 3-4 FT), six assists and four rebounds across 44 minutes during Tuesday's 136-130 double overtime loss to the Magic.
EDGE Analysis
Richardson was shockingly ineffective considering he played 44 minutes. His shot has not been falling over the last three games as he's averaged 24.2 percent shooting over that span. His minutes will likely drop when Rodney McGruder (ankle), Dion Waiters (groin) and Wayne Ellington (hamstring) return, especially when considering his cold spell from the floor.

Richardson will start at shooting guard for Tuesday's game against the Magic, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reports.
EDGE Analysis
Richardson will start a second consecutive game, as Rodney McGruder (ankle), Dion Waiters (groin) and Wayne Ellington (hamstring) have all been ruled out. He's seen 30 minutes or more in each of his last three games, but hasn't been all too effective offensively, shooting just 10-of-29 from the field over that span. He should again see a bunch of playing time, although Richardson needs to start hitting his shots to be worth a temporary look for fantasy purposes.

Richardson started at small forward and produced six points (3-10 FG, 0-6 3Pt), three rebounds and one steal across 35 minutes in Sunday's 105-95 loss to the Celtics.
EDGE Analysis
Richardson entered the top unit with Wayne Ellington (hamstring) sidelined, and despite seeing a hefty minute load, the second-year player wasn't able to take advantage. Since returning from an ankle injury five games ago, Richardson has looked quite rusty during his time on the court, averaging just 9.2 points, 3.2 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 0.8 three-pointers in 30.0 minutes per contest while shooting 39.6 percent from the floor. Until he offers more scoring production, Richardson will make for an unappealing lineup option, but since his playing time figures to remain fairly stable, he's still worth holding in most deep leagues.

Richardson will enter the starting five for Sunday's game against the Celtics, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reports.
EDGE Analysis
With Wayne Ellington sidelined with a hamstring injury and the Heat planning to keep Justise Winslow in a bench role for now, Richardson will have the opportunity to jump into the starting lineup Sunday. He's logged 30 minutes of playing time in each of his last two games and should again see extended minutes while working with the top overall unit.

Richardson (ankle) played 26 minutes off the bench in Saturday's 105-100 loss to the Bulls, accruing 11 points (5-12 FG, 0-6 3Pt, 1-2 FT) to go with four assists, three rebounds and one steal.
EDGE Analysis
After the Heat were forced to play their previous game Friday against the Cavaliers with only eight active players, coach Erik Spoelstra wasted no time in giving Richardson big minutes right away in his return from a six-game absence due to the sprained ankle. While Richardson had an off night from three-point range, he provided the team with some capable secondary scoring and didn't seem to be too hobbled by the injury. With the Heat still likely to remain without the services of several key players in Monday's game against the Wizards, expect Richardson to potentially move into the starting lineup, or at least see more extensive run.

Richardson (ankle) will take part in warmups prior to Saturday's game against the Bulls with the intent to play.
EDGE Analysis
Richardson sat out the last six games with his knee injury, but it appears he could return to action Saturday night. A final call on his availability figures to be announced at some point prior to tip-off.

Richardson (ankle) rejoined the Heat in Cleveland Friday, but will not play against the Cavaliers and could return for Saturday's game against the Bulls, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
EDGE Analysis
A return on Saturday would be surprising for Richardson, as he was originally ruled out for the team's entire road trip, which ends in Chicago. Richardson is at shootaround on Friday and his status will likely be determined following some more activity on Saturday, but this is surely an encouraging sign for the shooting guard's recovery.

Richardson (ankle) will not play in Tuesday's game against the Knicks and will not travel on the team's three-game road trip, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
EDGE Analysis
Richardson did go through Monday's practice, but the fact that he is out for the next four games is certainly discouraging for the shooting guard's health status. With Dion Waiters (knee), Justise Winslow (wrist), James Johnson (shoulder) and Luke Babbitt (hip) all ruled out for the next four games as well, Miami will need to rely heavily on Rodney McGruder, Tyler Johnson and Wayne Ellington for minutes in the backcourt and on the wing over the course of the road trip.

Richardson (ankle) is considered questionable to play Monday against the Knicks, Manny Navarro of the Miami Herald reports.
EDGE Analysis
Richardson went through shootaround Monday morning, which is certainly an encouraging sign that he could make his return after missing the last three games with a sprained ankle. Dion Waiters (knee) has already been ruled out, and Justise Winslow (wrist) is unlikely to play, so if Richardson is ultimately cleared to play, he figures to see a fairly substantial workload. Prior to his injury, Richardson had averaged 9.4 points, 3.2 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 26.4 minutes per game over his last five contests.

Richardson (ankle) has been ruled out of Saturday's matchup against the Trail Blazers, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
EDGE Analysis
This designation is unsurprising considering the guard was listed doubtful for the contest. With Dion Waiters and Justice Winslow also ruled out the Heat will continue moving forward with shallow depth on their wings. While Tyler Johnson should continue getting his usual minutes, Rodney McGruder, Wayne Ellington, and James Johnson should keep seeing a relatively heavier workload.
