Richardson has been ruled out for Tuesday's matchup with the Warriors.
EDGE Analysis
Richardson has yet to be cleared for full practices while working back from a soft tissue injury in his left foot. He was spotted wearing a protective boot on Monday, so there's a decent chance Richardson ends up missing a few more games before being eligible for a return. His next opportunity to take the court will be Friday against the Bucks, but in his absence, Tyler Johnson, Rodney McGruder, Wayne Ellington and Dion Waiters will share the added minutes made available in Richardson's absence.

Richardson (foot) is not expected to play Tuesday against the Warriors.
EDGE Analysis
Richardson was present at practice Monday, but he was very much limited while still donning a protective boot on his left foot. While coach Erik Spoelstra stopped short of ruling Richardson out, he indicated that it's unlikely he'll be available Tuesday. As a result, Tyler johnson, Rodney McGruder, Wayne Ellington and Dion Waiters could all see slight upticks in minutes.

An MRI on Richardson's left foot came back negative Sunday, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reports.
EDGE Analysis
Richardson has already been ruled out for Sunday's matchup with the Clippers, but he received some good news following a recent MRI. It appears he's officially avoided any structural damage to his foot and may be able to return to the court sooner than expected, although he's yet to be given any sort of timetable for a return. We should see his status updated over the next few days, but with Richardson out, Tyler Johnson, Rodney McGruder and Dion Waiters are slated to see an uptick in minutes.

Richardson (foot) will not play Sunday against the Clippers, Manny Navarro of the Miami Herald reports.
EDGE Analysis
Richardson left practice Saturday with what the team is calling a soft tissue injury, and coach Erik Spoelstra has already ruled the guard out for Sunday's contest. Until more details regarding the injury are released, Richardson should be considered day-to-day, with the likes of Tyler Johnson, Rodney McGruder and Dion Waiters in line to pick up increased minutes in his stead.

Richardson departed Saturday's practice with a walking boot on his left foot, Anthony Chiang of the Palm Beach Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
The exact diagnosis is yet to be announced, but Richardson is believed to have sustained some sort of soft tissue injury. He'll undergo further testing Saturday, so more details will likely be available later in the evening, or perhaps on Sunday. For the time being, Richardson should be considered day-to-day, but it seems highly unlikely that he'd be available for Sunday's matchup with the Clippers. Richardson has already missed time this season with injuries to his right knee and right ankle.

Richardson was held to 11 points (5-16 FG, 1-5 3Pt), three assists, two rebounds, two steals and two blocks across 37 minutes in a 99-90 loss to the Suns on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
More was expected from Richardson with the Heat down to just eight healthy players for the contest, but the second-year guard couldn't find a rhythm from the field. After scoring at least 19 points in three straight games, Richardson has fallen off that pace in the subsequent two contests, turning in 14- and 11-point efforts while going a collective 10-of-29 (34.5%) from the field. Richardson has given no indication that he's still bothered by the soreness in his right wrist that had negative consequences on his shooting in the first half of December, and with the injury-plagued Heat likely to be down several players again Wednesday versus the Kings, he'll be in line for high usage once again and will have ample opportunity to bounce back.

Richardson contributed 19 points (8-17 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 1-1 FT), eight assists, six rebounds, four steals and two blocks across 35 minutes in a 117-114 loss to the Celtics on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Goran Dragic's (back) absence resulted in Richardson starting at point guard instead of shooting guard, but he saw plenty of time at both spots, as reserve Tyler Johnson (19 points, six assists in 29 minutes off the bench) ended up running the offense for a good portion of the evening. Nonetheless, Richardson turned in his most complete outing of the season, and seems to be fully over the ankle issue that had put a damper on his production for much of the month. Richardson is averaging 20.3 points, 5.0 rebounds, 4.3 assists, 2.3 three-pointers, 2.0 steals and 1.0 block in 35.0 minutes per game over his last three contests.

Richardson supplied 20 points (8-14 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 1-1 FT), four rebounds, two assists, a steal and a block over 33 minutes in Thursday's 91-82 loss to the Hornets.
EDGE Analysis
After a stretch of five straight single-digit scoring tallies, Richardson has put together back-to-back 20-point outings for the first time in his career. He's shot 56.6 percent (17-of-30) over that span, and Thursday's production was particularly noteworthy in the sense that it came with Goran Dragic back in the lineup after a one-game absence. The second-year guard's confidence appears to be peaking at the moment, and he could certainly play a pivotal offensive role going forward on a team that's in need of more consistent scoring sources.

Richardson scored 22 points (9-16 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT) while adding five rebounds, three assists and a steal in 37 minutes during Tuesday's 106-94 loss to the Thunder.
EDGE Analysis
After failing to top 11 points in eight straight games since returning to action from an ankle injury, Richardson stepped up with his best scoring effort of the season on a night when Goran Dragic (back) wasn't available and Hassan Whiteside was contained by the Oklahoma City frontcourt. Dion Waiters (groin) still isn't cleared for full contact in practice, so Richardson should remain in Miami's starting five for the foreseeable future as long as he can avoid injuries of his own, but he'll need to show more consistency before he'll be worth using in most fantasy formats.

Richardson is dealing with shooting pain in his right wrist, but is playing through the pain, Manny Navaro of the Miami Herald reports.
EDGE Analysis
Richardson has been wearing tape to stabilize his shooting wrist before, during, and after games. He will continue to play, but it has affected his value negatively, shooting just 35 percent from the field in his six games since returning from his initial wrist injury, despite receiving a massive workload.
