Richardson (ankle) played 26 minutes off the bench in Saturday's 105-100 loss to the Bulls, accruing 11 points (5-12 FG, 0-6 3Pt, 1-2 FT) to go with four assists, three rebounds and one steal.
EDGE Analysis
After the Heat were forced to play their previous game Friday against the Cavaliers with only eight active players, coach Erik Spoelstra wasted no time in giving Richardson big minutes right away in his return from a six-game absence due to the sprained ankle. While Richardson had an off night from three-point range, he provided the team with some capable secondary scoring and didn't seem to be too hobbled by the injury. With the Heat still likely to remain without the services of several key players in Monday's game against the Wizards, expect Richardson to potentially move into the starting lineup, or at least see more extensive run.
