Starting PG Jeremy Lin has looked good so far, scoring nine points with seven assists and two steals before halftime of Monday's game against the Jazz. It's clear that the Knicks look like a better team with Lin at the point, and while he has some limitations the pros outweigh the cons. He should be added in all 12-team leagues for the chance he starts and puts up decent numbers going forward, and this could be great news for Amare Stouemire -- as Lin operates the pick-and-roll at least 10 times better than anybody else the Knicks have.

Mike D'Antoni said after Saturday's game that he is "leaning toward" starting Jeremy Lin at PG. "Let me watch the Super Bowl and then we'll figure it out," said D'Antoni. The Knicks' guard play has been poor all season and they just won behind a huge effort from Lin, so there are plenty of reasons to believe he could become the starter. The return of Baron Davis looms as a threat to his production, but owners should stash Lin while we see how this plays out.

It makes some sense considering Iman Shumpert's knee injury, but Lin is going to struggle to find any kind of playing time when everyone is healthy. This might be a short-term stopgap solution for the Knicks while some members of the backcourt are banged up.
