ESPN's Marc Stein reports that Jeremy Lin has been claimed off waivers by the Knicks. It makes some sense considering Iman Shumpert's knee injury, but Lin is going to struggle to find any kind of playing time when everyone is healthy. This might be a short-term stopgap solution for the Knicks while some members of the backcourt are banged up.
