Owners don't need to press the panic button, but it's certainly worth watching how Lin's playing time and production changes with Woodson now at the controls.

For Lin's part, he is going to plug along and continue to be productive, and offensively the Knicks are simply suffering from an identity crisis. Melo isn't pounding the air out of the ball, but the spacing, cuts, and motion when Lin was surrounded by role players were much better.

Owners are probably used to Lin's high number of turnovers by now, but his poor shooting was more the issue in this one. The Knicks have lost their last four games, but the problem has been more about a lack of team defense as well as integrating Carmelo Anthony rather than anything Lin is doing. He will face another tough challenge on Monday when the Knicks travel to Chicago to take on Derrick Rose and the Bulls.

Coach Mike D'Antoni confirmed that he's going to continue to ride Jeremy Lin. There's been whispers that Baron Davis could steal some of Lin's playing time, but D'Antoni is squashing that notion. "Jeremy's going to finish games right now. He's going to start games. And then we'll see what happens as we go forward," D'Antoni said. "But I'm comfortable with him." Lin is playing 33.4 minutes over the last five games, a sustainable number despite his 38.2 percent shooting during that span.
