Jeremy Lin kept his foot on the gas as the Knicks annihilated the Kings by the score of 100-85 on Wednesday, as Lin scored 10 points on 4-of-6 shooting with five rebounds, a career-high 13 assists, and six turnovers in 26 minutes. Lin and the rest of the Knicks' key players were held for most or all of the fourth quarter, and this game was over by the time the Kings stepped out of the locker room. As we've discussed in many places, owners can surely sell-high at the peak of Linsanity, as his scoring is definitely going to come down when Carmelo Anthony returns, But that's the only decrease that owners should count on. Amare Stoudemire scored 11 points with five boards, two steals, and a block, and Tyson Chandler was also slowed by the blowout with nine points, three boards, and two blocks.

Jeremy Lin had 27 points, 11 assists, a steal and two 3-pointers, including one with 0.5 seconds left on the clock to break a tie and beat the Raptors on Tuesday. Yes, he committed eight turnovers, but that's just one fantasy category. Lin has taken the league by storm and if you thought he was being hyped by the media up to this point, get ready for a firestorm on Wednesday after his heroic 3-pointer. Carmelo Anthony's return will make things interesting, but Lin appears to be locked and loaded for the rest of the season. Enjoy the ride.

The Knicks will be able to retain Jeremy Lin for the foreseeable future via the "Gilbert Arenas rule," according to CBS' Ken Berger. Lin will be a restricted free agent after this season and the Knicks are up against the cap thanks to the salaries of Carmelo Anthony, Amare Stoudemire and Tyson Chandler. But they can still retain Lin by using their mid-level exception for next season to match or exceed any offer sheets their new point guard gets. Lin is locked in.

Jeremy Lin has been named the Eastern Conference Player of the Week. We never blurb about meaningless "awards" like Player of the Week or Month, but this is Linsanity after all. Lin earned the award by averaging 27.3 points, 8.3 assists and 4.0 rebounds last week as the Knicks went 4-0. He's the NBA's top jersey seller since February 4 and stock shares of MSG have reached an all-time high. Lin's next task will be adjusting to Amare Stoudemire (personal) being back with the team and the eventual return of Carmelo Anthony (groin).

Beat writer Marc Berman expects Jeremy Lin to be asked to score less once Carmelo Anthony (groin) and Amare Stoudemire (personal) return. Well, duh. Over the last five games, Lin is attempting 19.4 shots and scoring 26.8 points per game. Once the two superstars return, that's not happening. However, Lin will remain a lock for 32-36 minutes and he will still be the primary playmaker in a Mike D'Antoni pick-and-roll offense. A ton of upside remains with Lin.

Jeremy Lin led the Knicks to their fifth consecutive victory on Saturday, dropping 20 points, six rebounds, eight assists and three steals in his matchup against Rookie of the Year candidate Ricky Rubio. Lin coughed up six more turnovers and didn't shoot well (8-of-24 FGs, 4-of-7 FTs), but he kept his head up and turned in yet another outstanding performance. Need another reason to lavish praise on Lin? Coming into this game he had scored 89 points in his first three NBA starts, the highest such total by an NBA player since John Drew scored 97 for Atlanta in 1974.

Jeremy Lin had another big line, hitting 9-of-14 shots for 23 points, a career-high 10 assists, with a steal and block in Wednesday's win over the Wizards. Lin hysteria will be at a fever pitch on Thursday morning, especially in New York. And while it's hard to predict what will become of Lin's career, three starts into it he's simply looked fantastic. He's a better defender than anyone knew and seems to have firm control of Mike D'Antoni's offense. Congratulations if you picked him up in the last week. Sell high if you want, but he's not going away anytime soon, and could end up being the waiver-wire pickup of the year. And if you think the Tebow-esque hype machine is already out of control, just wait until Kobe Bryant and the Lakers show up in the Garden for Friday night's ESPN game.

Coach Mike D'Antoni said he is going to ride Jeremy Lin "like friggin' Secretariat." Linsanity is taking over. In the last two games, Lin is averaging 26.5 points, 7.5 assists, 3.5 rebounds and 40.4 minutes while the Knicks have gone 2-0. Those numbers are certainly unsustainable, but Lin is a pure pick-and-roll point guard playing huge minutes in Mike D'Antoni's offense. The second-year man out of Harvard is going to have some leash here.

Jeremy Lin had career-bests in scoring (28 points) and assists (eight) in the Knicks' 99-88 win over the Jazz on Monday, hitting 10-of-17 shots from the field (1-of-3 from downtown, 7-of-9 from the line) with two rebounds, two steals, and eight turnovers in 45 minutes. The eight turnovers are a blemish, but when Madison Square Garden is chanting his name and Lin is making the Knicks look viable again we're not going to complain. If you added Lin in fantasy leagues prior to this outburst, congrats, it looks like you're holding a starting Mike D'Antoni PG, and if he's available on your wire go run and grab him right now.
