Whiteside (hip) is listed as out for Monday's game against the Nuggets, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
EDGE Analysis
Whiteside continues to nurse a lingering hip injury and despite having nearly a week-and-a-half off to rest, he'll once again remain on the sidelines Monday. That will mark his fifth straight absence and he remains without any real timetable for his potential return. His next opportunity to take the court will be Wednesday against the Knicks. Bam Adebayo should continue to start in his place, with Kelly Olynyk logging additional minutes off the bench.

Whiteside (hip) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Lakers, Tim Reynolds of the Associated Press reports.
EDGE Analysis
Whiteside will miss a fourth straight game Friday and it's somewhat discouraging that he's being ruled out a day in advance. However, the Heat don't play again until Monday against the Nuggets, which should give Whiteside another three full days for additional rest and rehabilitation. Look for Bam Adebayo to start at center in his place Friday, with Kelly Olynyk seeing added run off the bench.

Whiteside (hip) is listed as out for Wednesday's game against the Kings, Manny Navarro of the Miami Herald reports.
EDGE Analysis
Whiteside is slated to miss his third straight game, as the Heat continue to be as cautious as possible with their big man as he works through a strained left hip flexor. The Heat are fighting for one of the final playoff spots in the East, but they aren't going to rush Whiteside back to avoid any additional aggravation, so it's unclear if he'll ultimately be cleared in time for Friday's game against the Lakers either. With Whiteside likely out again, look for Kelly Olynyk and Bam Adebayo to see added run in the frontcourt.

The Heat have ruled Whiteside (hip) out for Monday's game against the Trail Blazers, Tom D'Angelo of The Palm Beach Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Though Whiteside and Dwyane Wade (hamstring) joined Miami for the start of their three-game road trip, both were ruled out before the Heat even conducted morning shootaround Monday, suggesting that the duo could be in store for additional absences. Whiteside, who strained his left hip flexor during shootaround Saturday and missed the Heat's victory over the Wizards later that evening, has been a disappointment for fantasy owners in large part to his poor health, as Monday will mark his 21st game on the sideline this season. With Whiteside unavailable, both Bam Adebayo and Kelly Olynyk will benefit from spikes in playing time and production.

Whiteside (hip) will travel with the Heat for its three-game road trip that begins Monday in Portland, but wouldn't commit to being available for any of those contests, Andre C. Fernandez of the Miami Herald reports. "I'm going to listen to [team trainers]," Whiteside said, regarding his recovery timetable from the strained left hip flexor. "I don't want to make it worse. Anytime they say you can make an injury worse, I'm going to listen to them."
EDGE Analysis
Whiteside was held out of Saturday's 129-102 win over the Wizards after sustaining the hip injury in the club's pregame shootaround. The center initially tried to play through the pain, but after his condition worsened, the Heat elected to rule him out for the contest. He'll presumably be reevaluated at shootaround Monday, but if Whiteside is unable to give it a go, Bam Adebayo would likely draw a second straight start at center.

Whiteside will not play Saturday against the Wizards due to a sore left hip.
EDGE Analysis
The big man wasn't listed on the initial injury report, but he'll be held out of action two nights after playing 29 minutes in a win over the 76ers. In Whiteside's absence, expect either Kelly Olynyk or Bam Adebayo to move into the starting five, with both players in line for increased minutes.

Whiteside accumulated 26 points (9-12 FG, 8-12 FT), eight rebounds, two assists, two blocks, and one steal in 29 minutes during Thursday's 108-99 win over the 76ers.
EDGE Analysis
Whiteside was dominant, outplaying 76ers center Joel Embiid en route to a game-high scoring total on just 12 field-goal attempts. While Whiteside is earning less minutes this season than he did in either of the last two campaigns, his per-game stats haven't dropped off that much outside of blocked shots. With the Heat fighting for playoff positioning, Whiteside will have plenty of chances to put up gaudy lines over the last 16 regular season tilts.

Whiteside scored 24 points (10-13 FG, 4-5 FT), grabbed 14 rebounds, dished two assists, snatched two steals, and recorded three blocks in 25 minutes Monday as the Heat topped the Suns.
EDGE Analysis
Whiteside was everywhere Monday, eclipsing the 20-point threshold for the first time in more than a month. His shot-blocking ability paired with the modest scoring and strong rebounding numbers make him a valuable fantasy asset. Whiteside is the type of player that can win you a category on his own if he has a big week. However, he isn't a source of assists. Monday marked only the tenth time this season that Whiteside had more than one assist in a game.

Whiteside scored eight points (2-10 FG, 4-5 FT) to go with 19 rebounds, one assist and one block in 25 minutes during Saturday's 105-96 win against Detroit.
EDGE Analysis
While it was not the most impressive of scoring nights for Whiteside, the center did collect a game-high 19 rebounds on Saturday. In his last ten games, he has dominated the boards, averaging 12.8 rebounds per game. Meanwhile, Whiteside has hit a slight shooting slump in his last two games, shooting 3-of-14 from the field for a total of 14 points collectively. If he can return closer to his average of 13.9 points while collecting this amount of rebounds, Whiteside will put up some impressive numbers down the stretch.

Whiteside scored six points (1-4 FG, 4-4 FT) to go along with seven rebounds across 19 minutes during Thursday's 131-113 loss to the Lakers.
EDGE Analysis
Whiteside struggled in this fast-paced affair, receiving his fewest minutes in a month's worth of action and notching his lowest rebound total since Jan. 5. He'd recorded double-doubles in seven of the last eight games and will look to bounce back Saturday against the Pistons.
