Monroe had eight points (4-7 FG, 0-1 FT), four rebounds, two assists and a steal across 19 minutes off the bench in Friday's loss to Maine.
EDGE Analysis
Monroe was once one of the best big men in the league but is now looking to restart his career at the G League level. He's been in and out of the starting lineup thus far with Capital City but his numbers have not been encouraging, as he's averaging just 7.5 points and 7.8 rebounds per contest.

Monroe signed a deal Friday with the G League's Capital City Go-Go, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Monroe last played in the NBA in 2018-19, when he served as a backup to Joel Embiid in Philadelphia. The 2010 lottery pick will now return to North America to join the Wizards' G League affiliate after most recently suiting up in Germany with Bayern Munich.

Monroe has signed a contract with Bayern Munich of the German Basketball Bundesliga, Emiliano Carchia of Sportnado reports.
EDGE Analysis
It's been a hard and fast fall for Monroe, who is still just 29 years old. As recently as 2015-16, he started 67 games for the Bucks, averaging 15.3 points, 8.8 rebounds and 2.3 assists in 29.3 minutes. But with the modern NBA focused on spacing and big man defense, Monroe has fallen by the wayside as an offensive-minded center who lives in the post. An NBA comeback is possible, but seems unlikely unless Monroe develops a passable three-point shot.

Monroe managed two points (1-3 FG, 0-1 3Pt) and one rebound in five minutes during Tuesday's 125-89 Game 5 loss to the Raptors.
EDGE Analysis
Monroe had his three-game streak of double-digit minutes snapped in this one, as he was promptly subbed out after air-balling an open corner three in the second quarter. It is entirely possible that Monroe will continue to hold down the fort as Joel Embiid's primary backup at center. Still, 76ers coach Brett Brown might instead decide to roll with smaller lineups that can better match up with Toronto's backup big man (Serge Ibaka). As a result, it shouldn't catch anyone off guard if Brown turns to Mike Scott or Jonah Bolden rather than Monroe in Thursday's Game 6.

Monroe (ankle) will play during Thursday's Game 3 against the Raptors, Keith Pompey of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
EDGE Analysis
A left ankle sprain put Monroe's status into question, but the big man will ultimately be able to suit up. Across 16 total minutes in this series, he's racked up 13 points, six rebounds, two blocks and one assist.

Monroe (ankle) practiced Wednesday and said afterward that he "expects" to participate in Thursday's Game 3 against the Raptors, Derek Bodner of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
A sprained ankle cut Monroe's night short during Game 2, but it doesn't appear it's serious enough to keep him out of Philly's first home game of the series. An official update on his status may be made following Thursday's morning shootaround.

Monroe has been ruled out for the remainder of Game 2 against the Raptors due to a left ankle sprain, Dave McMenamin of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Sixers initially announced that Monroe was available to return after tweaking his ankle in the third quarter, but it appears his injury was more significant than originally thought. He scored 10 points (4-7 FG, 2-2 FT) and registered five rebounds along with an assist and a block over 12 minutes off the bench.

Monroe was ejected during Tuesday's Game 5 against Brooklyn, Keith Pompey of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
EDGE Analysis
Monroe was involved in some garbage time pushing and shoving. It would be surprising he was suspended for Game 1 against the Raptors.

Monroe managed nine points (4-13 FG, 1-2 FT), 13 rebounds, one assist, one steal, and one block in 25 minutes during Thursday's 131-115 Game 3 win over the Nets.
EDGE Analysis
Monroe drew the start in place of Joel Embiid (knee) and finished one point shy of a double-double while contributing across multiple categories. Monroe wasn't efficient offensively, missing several easy shots that he usually makes. Nevertheless, he was fairly effective as the spot starter at center and could be in line to draw another start in Saturday's Game 4 if the 76ers decide to play it safe and sit Embiid once again.
