VanVleet (personal) was not seen going through warmups ahead of Tuesday's matchup with the Timberwolves, Doug Smith of the Toronto Star reports.
EDGE Analysis
Coach Dwane Casey indicated he expected VanVleet back and ready to play in Tuesday's game after he was originally away from the team following the birth of his daughter. However, VanVleet wasn't out for warmups, so there's certainly a chance he's arriving late to the stadium. While he's still likely going to be active, fantasy owners may want to avoid the situation just in case VanVleet can't give it a go.

Coach Dwane Casey said he expects VanVleet (personal) to play in Tuesday's game against the Timberwolves, Josh Lewenberg of TSN Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
VanVleet missed the Raptors' shootaround following the birth of his daughter and while it was originally believed that he wouldn't be back in time for Tuesday's contest, that's no longer the case. Coach Casey indicated he expects VanVleet to be available as usual, so look for him to take on his typical spot providing depth in the backcourt. Over the last three games, VanVleet has played particularly well, averaging 15.7 points, 3.7 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 1.3 steals and 1.0 block across 18.7 minutes.

VanVleet (personal) wasn't in attendance for the Raptors' morning shootaround Tuesday and is uncertain to be available for the team's game later in the day against the Timberwolves, Josh Lewenberg of TSN.ca reports.
EDGE Analysis
After rattling off a season-high 25 points (9-13 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 4-4 FT) to go with four assists, two rebounds and two steals in 20 minutes during the Raptors' win over the Lakers on Sunday, VanVleet left the team to witness the birth of his daughter. It sounds like he's still taking time to be with his family, with his absence from shootaround making it seem rather unlikely that he'll be available later Tuesday. If that's the case, Delon Wright would fill all the available minutes at point guard behind starter Kyle Lowry.

VanVleet was excused from Monday's practice following the birth of his first child late Sunday night, Josh Lewenberg of TSN reports.
EDGE Analysis
VanVleet is coming off of his best performance of the season Sunday against the Lakers, when he finished with 25 points (9-12 FG, 3-4 3PT), four assists, two rebounds and two steals in just 20 minutes of action. As of now, the general expectation seems to be that he'll be available for Tuesday's game against Minnesota, but VanVleet should officially be considered questionable until the team clarifies his status at morning shootaround.

VanVleet contributed 25 points (9-13 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 4-4 FT), four assists, two rebounds and two steals across 20 minutes in Sunday's 123-111 victory over the Lakers.
EDGE Analysis
VanVleet came off the bench and provided the offensive spark the Raptors needed Sunday night as he was extremely efficient shooting from all over the floor. He has now alternated the past six games he's played with double-digit scoring affairs and low scoring totals, so he will hope to carry this effort over into their next game Tuesday against the Timberwolves.

VanVleet scored 19 points (6-9 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 3-3 FT) while adding seven rebounds, five assists, three blocks and two steals in only 18 minutes off the bench during Wednesday's 108-93 win over the Hawks.
EDGE Analysis
It was a breathtaking performance on a per-minute basis, as Raptors coach Dwane Casey let his bench close things out in an easy victory. VanVleet's usual production is much less impressive, however, and it would need a Kyle Lowry injury to see enough minutes to have consistent fantasy value in season-long formats.

VanVleet (knee) returned to action Saturday against the Timberwolves, posting eight points (2-2 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 3-4 3Pt), two rebounds, one assist and one steal across 14 minutes.
EDGE Analysis
VanVleet missed a pair of games last week with a bruised knee, but was able to shake the injury and play 14 minutes Saturday. He should be good to go for his typical workload moving forward, though with both Kyle Lowry and Delon Wright healthy, there won't be a ton of minutes available for VanVleet in the backcourt. Unless an injury were to occur, it's probably safe to avoid VanVleet for fantasy purposes.

VanVleet (knee) will be a game-time decision for Friday's game against the Spurs, Josh Lewenberg of TSN reports.
EDGE Analysis
VanVleet sustained a bruised knee Monday against Philadelphia and was subsequently held out of Wednesday's matchup with the Pistons. Coach Dwane Casey intimated that the backup guard will be a true game-time call Friday, though he noted that the team isn't concerned about VanVleet doing any further damage to the knee. At this point, it appears to be a matter of pain tolerance. If VanVleet misses another game, expect Delon Wright to pick up increased minutes behind Kyle Lowry.

VanVleet (knee) participated in Thursday's practice, Josh Lewenberg of TSN.ca reports.
EDGE Analysis
VanVleet was held out of Wednesday's game against the Pistons due a bruised right knee, but it looks like he is on track to return for Friday's game against the Spurs barring any setbacks. Expect an official update to come from the Raptors after shootaround Friday.

VanVleet (knee) will not play during Wednesday's contest against the Pistons.
EDGE Analysis
VanVleet bruised his right knee during Monday's game and, though not serious, it's enough to keep him from lacing up Wednesday. In his absence, Delon Wright will likely see more reserve point guard minutes behind starter Kyle Lowry.
