VanVleet (back) is listed as questionable for Wednesday's game against the Heat.
EDGE Analysis
VanVleet was held out of Monday's game against the Pistons after being forced out of competition Sunday with lower back tightness. The Raptors don't have much to play for in Wednesday's finale, so it wouldn't be too surprising to see the point guard be sidelined for additional rest before the playoffs. Look for another update on VanVleet's status to come after the team's shootaround Wednesday morning.

VanVleet (back) will sit out Monday's game against the Pistons, Arden Zwelling of Sportsnet reports.
EDGE Analysis
VanVleet was an early exit from Sunday's game due to tightness in his back and with the Raptors safely locked into the top overall seed in the Eastern Conference playoffs, there's no reason to have him try and play through the injury. With VanVleet out Monday, look for Delon Wright to pick up some added run in the backcourt, while Lorenzo Brown will likely be recalled from the G-League to provide emergency depth.

Van Vleet left Sunday's game against the Magic with lower back tightness and will not return.
EDGE Analysis
It's unclear at this time how severe Van Vleet's injury is, but the Raptors will likely take every precaiontary measure possible at this time with just two games remaining in the regular season. Without Van Vleet for the rest of Sunday's game, Delon Wright will take over as the team's primary backup point guard.

Van Vleet finished with 15 points (5-7 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 2-3 FT), four assists, one steal and one rebound across 25 minutes off the bench during Tuesday's 114-110 win over the Nuggets.
EDGE Analysis
Van Vleet continued a strong run of bench scoring that's seen him finish in double figures in eight of his last nine games. He led all bench players in minutes again and continues to make the case for a more substantial role. Van Vleet's play has been a boon to the Raps this season, but his production is clearly capped by the presence of two All-Star guards in front of him on the depth chart.

VanVleet contributed 16 points (6-13 FG, 4-9 3Pt), five assists, three steals and one rebound across 29 minutes during a 132-129 loss to the Cavaliers on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
VanVleet (hand) returned from a two-game absence and looked like his normal self. The 16 points marked his best scoring total since early February and he also chipped in three steals, which marked just one shy of a season high. When healthy, VanVleet is a low-end source of points, three pointers, assists and steals.

VanVleet (hand) is available to play in Wednesday's game against the Cavaliers.
EDGE Analysis
VanVleet will be returning to the lineup after a two-game absence and should reclaim his spot backing up Kyle Lowry at point guard. His return could cut into the playing time of Delon Wright, though Wright has played very well of late and there's a chance the Raptors still try and get him a bunch of minutes with C.J. Miles (illness) out.

VanVleet (hand) is listed as questionable for Wednesday's game against the Cavaliers, Rick Noland of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports.
EDGE Analysis
VanVleet has missed two consecutive games with a bruised right hand, but it appears he'll attempt to go through pregame warmups Wednesday before a final decision is made on his availability. Look for another update to be provided just before tip-off and if does sit out again, Delon Wright would be in line for more playing time off the bench.

VanVleet (hand) is out for Tuesday's contest against the Magic, Eric Smith of Sportsnet 590 The Fan reports.
EDGE Analysis
VanVleet will miss a second straight contest as he continues to work back from a bruised right hand. With DeMar DeRozan (rest) also ruled out, Delon Wright, Norman Powell and C.J. Miles are all candidates to see expanded roles.

VanVleet (hand) is listed as questionable for Tuesday's game against the Magic.
EDGE Analysis
The Raptors called the point guard as day-to-day shortly after he was ruled out ahead of Sunday's loss to the Thunder, so the questionable designation more or less aligns with that label. Expect the team to provide an update on VanVleet's condition following morning shootaround, as well as a decision on his availability for Tuesday's contest. VanVleet's absence Sunday resulted in an expanded role for fellow reserve guard Delon Wright, who tallied 15 points (6-8 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), eight assists, two rebounds and two steals in a losing effort.

VanVleet (hand) can be considered day-to-day moving forward, Josh Lewenberg of TSN Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
VanVleet was a surprising addition to the injury report early Sunday morning, eventually being ruled out against the Thunder due to a bruised hand. However, following the game coach Dwane Casey indicated VanVleet can be considered day-to-day, so the injury clearly isn't anything too serious and there's a chance he's back in the lineup as soon as Tuesday's game against the Magic. Without VanVleet on the floor, Delon Wright logged 31 minutes off the bench Sunday.
