Eric Bledsoe (knee) will not play against the Grizzlies on Thursday. The news came after the 9:00 EST tip on Thursday night. The decision to hold out Bledsoe was made just before tip. Bledsoe's knee sprain occurred in Los Angeles and this is the first we've heard of this report. The good news is his injury does not appear to be serious, making him questionable to play against the Bucks on Saturday. Gerald Green will start and should be picked up in most leagues until Bledsoe is healthy. It's worth noting he missed 10 days due to a bruised shin earlier this season.

Bledsoe is shooting 48 percent on the season to go with impressive averages of 19 points, 6.2 assists, 1.6 steals and 1.2 triples on the year. There probably aren't 20 better players to own when he's clicking like he is right now.

Bledsoe wasn't nearly as efficient as teammate Goran Dragic, who had 31 points and five assists on 18 shots, but still put up a nice line. While he hasn't been the dynamo he was before his shin injury, when Dragic was injured for a time, he is playing well again, averaging 18 points, 2.7 rebounds, 7.7 assists, 1.7 steals and 2.0 3-pointers over his last three games, so make sure he's back in your lineup.

This was his best game since Nov. 13, just before he suffered a shin injury, and it looks like he's finally about ready to get back on track. Green's numbers are lower across the board in five games as a reserve this season, so his probable bench role on Tuesday is bad news for his fantasy owners.

He's a must-start play in the shallowest of formats. Gerald Green has been very good and will still see some time at small forward, so he's worth owning in most leagues unless it's to pick up a hot free agent.
