Coach Jeff Hornacekc said on Tuesday Eric Bledsoe (knee) is stepping up his rehab and has been doing a "little bit more" every day.
The bad news is that there is still no new timetable for his return. Bledsoe is at least trying to come back, but that doesn't necessarily mean he'll be ready to go. The Suns are in contention and if they make a trade at the deadline, it might be an indication Bledsoe will be back by the end of the season. In the meantime, Gerald Green should be owned in all leagues.

Eric Bledsoe (knee) said on Saturday he is "making progress" and has been shooting shots with his team in his rehab.
This is a non-update on Bledsoe and he still does not have a timetable to return. It's anyone's guess on if or when the emerging star will return to the lineup, but he's at least making an effort and did mention he's having a tough time watching his teammates play without him. Bledsoe is worth a stash for those who can afford it.

Updating a previous item, Eric Bledsoe (knee) has been restricted to strength-building exercises and should be running soon, according to coach Jeff Hornacek.
"Doctors said everything looks good," Hornacek said. "He's going to continue his rehab. I think because they got that 'OK', they'll step up his workload and continue to push him to get back as soon as he can." Earlier today there was a report of Bledsoe increasing his workload in rehab, so the team's official site got into a few more specifics. He is making progress and the chances of a return this season seem to be increasing.

Eric Bledsoe (knee) is ramping up his rehab after being checked out by doctors over the weekend.
He is three weeks removed from his lateral meniscus surgery and said his rehab has been "going great" on Friday. The Suns possibly making a push for the playoffs is good for Bledsoe's chances to make it back on the court at some point this season. The freakishly athletic guard has been dynamite all season and it's not a bad idea to stash him for those who can afford it.

Eric Bledsoe said his rehab is "going great" and he's "doing the basics."
"I just got to keep rehabbing and keep staying with the program," Bledsoe said. "If it's possible, I'll be back, but for the most part I'm going to take it a day at a time." The last part of that statement might be the most telling and he certainly doesn't sound like a player with a firm timetable to return. The question of stashing him in fantasy leagues is based more on the situation, but it wouldn't be a surprise to see him sit out the rest of his contract year. Bledsoe was phenomenal before the injury, so it does make sense to stash him for those who can afford it.

Eric Bledsoe missed four months when he had his right knee operated on in October of 2011.
Bledsoe tore the meniscus in his right knee in October of 2011 and had it repaired. Earlier this month, he underwent another surgery on his right knee meniscus -- this time to get it removed. The rehab from a removal is typically much shorter, usually 4-6 weeks or so. But given Bledsoe's history and his status as an impending restricted free agent, it may be longer. He says he is hoping to return at some point following the All-Star break, but is going to take it slow and won't make any promises. For now, this is all owners have to go on.

Eric Bledsoe (knee surgery) said that he'll return this season "if it's possible," adding that he's "taking it as slow as possible."
The Suns' promising young guard said a few times that he won't play until he's 100 percent, a reasonable approach which unfortunately does nothing to improve his rest-of-season fantasy outlook. Owners scrapping for playoff position may need to cut him given his nebulous return date.

Eric Bledsoe (knee surgery) attended Tuesday's practice as an observer, but there is no timetable for his return.
He may also begin traveling with the Suns next week, as his surgically-repaired knee no longer gets sore after he sits for extended periods of time. "We're doing everything possible to get him back as quickly as possible," said coach Jeff Hornacek. Goran Dragic and Gerald Green will comprise the Suns' starting backcourt until Bledsoe returns to the court.

Eric Blesoe (knee surgery) was walking without crutches during the Suns' practice on Saturday.
He declined to make any comments to the media and this doesn't provide any insights on his rehab or timetable, but it's nice to see him up and about. At present we're still operating on the Suns' vague initial timetable, which said that Bledsoe "will pursue a possible return to action during the second half of this NBA season."

Eric Bledsoe had a piece of his right knee meniscus removed, and not the entire thing, during Friday's surgery.
We've seen conflicting reports on his surgery, but are pretty sure he didn't have his meniscus entirely removed, which would be a rare procedure for someone as young as Bledsoe. He's targeting a return sometime in the second half of the season, but we doubt he'll play prior to the All-Star break. Owners in daily lineup leagues probably need to think about dropping him, while owners in weekly leagues might be able to get by with keeping him on the bench. We cited a recent report that stated that his meniscus was completely removed, but that does not appear to be the case.
