Williams managed eight points (3-7 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 2-4 FT), four rebounds and two assists over 23 minutes in Saturday's 117-99 loss to the Bulls.
EDGE Analysis
Williams continues to come off the bench behind Channing Frye while Kevin Love (knee) remains sidelined, but he's been reasonably productive while doing so. He's played no less than 21 minutes since debuting with the Cavs on Feb. 9, and has posted double-digit scoring in three of his first six games in a Cleveland uniform. With Williams having signed a second 10-day contract on Wednesday and Love out for several more weeks, the six-year veteran is a serviceable short-term grab in deeper formats.

Williams will sign a second 10-day contract with the Cavaliers prior to Wednesday's practice, Dave McMenamin of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
After Williams' first 10-day deal expired earlier in the week, it was initially expected the Cavaliers would wait until the aftermath of Thursday's trade deadline to decide the forward's future with the team. However, Williams' re-signing may indicate that no major roster moves are imminent, and the 25-year-old seems to have done enough to convince the Cavaliers that he'll be a dependable option off the bench the rest of the way. According to Jon Krawczynski of the Associated Press, there's been "every indication" that Williams will eventually sign a contract with the Cavaliers for the remainder of the season, something that teammate LeBron James has already endorsed. In his four games with the Cavs, Williams is averaging 9.8 points (on 60% shooting), 3.0 rebounds, 0.8 assists and 0.8 three-pointers in 23.3 minutes per contest.

Williams' 10-day contract with the Cavaliers expired, and the team is yet to make a decision on his future, Jason Lloyd of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.
EDGE Analysis
Cleveland opted not to sign Williams to a second 10-day deal, but the team is keeping the forward on its radar, and whether he returns to Cleveland will likely be determined by what the Cavs do -- or don't do -- before Thursday's trade deadline. All indications are that the Cavs have been impressed by Williams, who's averaged 9.8 points and 3.0 rebounds in four games, but they want to keep a roster spot available in the event of a trade. If the Cavaliers still have an opening after the deadline passes, Williams would likely be re-signed, assuming another team doesn't scoop him up in the meantime. "We hope that this is a long-term thing," LeBron James said after Williams initially signed. "Obviously, we know that he's on a 10-day contract, but we believe it's going to be long term."

Williams supplied seven points (2-7 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 1-2 FT), five rebounds and two assists across 27 minutes in a 113-104 win over the Pacers on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Williams has seen 20-plus minutes in all four of his appearances with the Cavaliers, and with Kevin Love (knee) slated to miss the next six weeks, it doesn't appear the former No. 2 overall pick is in danger of sacrificing any playing time, barring a major addition to the frontcourt. The Cavaliers will still have to decide over the weekend whether to extend Williams to another 10-day contract, but given the extent to which coach Tyronn Lue has been relying on the forward in his first week with the team, it looks to be merely a formality. Despite the key bench role he's occupied for the Cavaliers, Williams still doesn't shape up as an especially appealing fantasy option in most deeper leagues due to his low rebound rate.

Williams scored 12 points (3-3 FG, 6-8 FT) and dished one assist in 22 minutes Thursday during a 118-109 loss to the Thunder.
EDGE Analysis
After signing with the team on Thursday, Williams suited up less than 24 hours later at Chesapeake Arena and unexpectedly played 22 minutes, the bulk of which came in the fourth quarter of a tight game. Williams showed decent chemistry with the Cavs stars, playing off the ball well by providing a threat around the baseline and corner-three area. Expect Williams to see significant playing time against the Nuggets on Saturday after an encouraging debut.

Williams will play in Thursday's matchup with the Thunder, Joe Vardon of Cleveland.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Williams signed with the Cavaliers earlier in the day on Thursday and will be suited up for the game, though it's unclear how many minutes he'll see, if any. Don't expect him to see significant minutes in what is his first day with the team.

Williams is set to sign a 10-day contract with the Heat on Thursday, Shams Charania of The Vertical reports.
EDGE Analysis
Williams cleared waivers Wednesday after being waived by Miami, and he's expected to join the Cavaliers in time to potentially be available for Thursday's matchup with the Thunder in Oklahoma City. The former No. 2 overall pick will provide depth to a relatively thin and veteran-laden Cavs frontcourt, but it's unclear if Cleveland views him as anything more than a temporary placeholder. Signing Williams to a 10-day contract, rather than a longer-term deal, provides the Cavs with some flexibility as the Feb. 23 trade deadline approaches. In joining the Cavaliers, Williams will suit up for his fifth NBA team since entering the league in 2011-12. He spent all of last season with the Knicks before averaging 5.9 points and 2.9 rebounds in 25 games for the Heat prior to being waived.

Williams has been released from the Heat on Monday, Shams Charania of The Vertical reports.
EDGE Analysis
Williams has averaged 5.9 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 0.6 assists during his 2016-17 campaign with the Heat. Williams will likely go through the waiver period unclaimed before becoming a free agent. The 25-year-old played in 25 games with Miami while sitting fourth on the power forward depth chart.

Williams will be in the starting lineup for Sunday's game against the Clippers.
EDGE Analysis
Williams is slated to replace Luke Babbitt (illness) at power forward, with James Johnson also providing additional depth in the frontcourt. Hassan Whiteside also returns to the starting lineup for the Heat on Sunday.

Williams will move back to the bench for Thursday's game against the Hornets, Anthony Chiang of the Palm Beach Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
With Josh McRoberts (foot) out indefinitely, Williams drew the start on Tuesday against the Thunder, posting nine points (4-4 FG, 1-1 3Pt), two rebounds and a steal over 15 minutes. It was a slightly smaller workload than expected and now that he's moving to the bench, it likely means even less playing time. Luke Babbitt is replacing him in the starting lineup despite never leaving the bench Tuesday and with so much uncertainty over each guy's role, this might be a situation to avoid in fantasy circles for the time being.
