Wright scored 13 points (5-9 FG, 1-2 3PT, 2-2 FT) to go with seven rebounds, four assists, one steal and one block in 29 minutes during Tuesday's 90-89 loss to Miami.
EDGE Analysis
Starting in the place of the injured Kyle Lowry (back), Wright made the most of his first start of the season. The guard shot an efficient 5-of-9 from the floor en route to 13 points in 29 minutes of action. In addition, Wright supplemented his stat line with seven rebounds and four assists, both marks being good enough for second-best in each category for the season. Given that Lowry is listed as day-to-day at this time, Wright could return to the bench as soon as Thursday against Cleveland. Until Lowry's injury situation is resolved, Wright's Tuesday performance showed that he is an adequate replacement at guard for Toronto.

Wright will start at point guard for Tuesday's game against the Heat.
EDGE Analysis
Wright has seen seen a surprise bump in playing time recently, averaging 26.3 minutes over the last three games. That included a 25-point, 13-rebound performance against the Bulls, which shows his potential upside. However, he did follow-up with a few sub-par showings, including posting just seven points and five rebounds against the Nets the last time out. Either way, with Kyle Lowry (back) ruled out, Wright will pick up the start in his place and should once again be relied upon for big minutes, making him one of the more intriguing cheaper options for Tuesday's DFS slate.

Wright scored 25 points (10-15 FG, 4-5 3Pt, 1-1 FT) while adding 13 rebounds, five assists, four steals and a block in 30 minutes off the bench during Wednesday's 124-115 win over the Bulls.
EDGE Analysis
The points, boards and three-pointers were all career highs for Wright, while the steals tied his previous best. The third-year point guard is emerging as a leader on the Raptors' second unit, averaging 12.1 points, 4.4 boards, 2.3 assists, 1.7 steals, 1.3 threes and 1.1 blocks in 23.3 minutes a night over the last seven games.

Wright contributed 12 points (4-11 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, four assists and one steal across 28 minutes during a 114-109 win over the 76ers on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Wright's 12 points marked his best scoring total since Nov. 14 when he went for 14 points. It was also the first time all season that he has had at least four rebounds and four assists in the same game. Wright's value could take a slight hit when C.J. Miles (dental procedure) returns to the court.

Wright reported "no soreness" in his shoulder following Friday's game against the Nets, Blake Murphy of Raptors Republic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Wright made his return to action Friday after missing a month with a dislocated shoulder. The backup point guard played 16 minutes, finishing with seven points, two assists and a steal. Prior to the injury, Wright was averaging more than 20 minutes per game, and he'll now compete with Fred VanVleet for playing time off the bench behind Kyle Lowry.

Wright (shoulder) is available for Friday's game against the Nets, Ryan Wolstat of the Toronto Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
Wright has missed the team's past 12 games due to a dislocated shoulder. It's unclear how much he'll be thrown back into the rotation in his first game back. But, before being sidelined, he was averaging 20.9 minutes per game and posting 7.6 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 2.4 rebounds.

Wright (shoulder) has been upgraded to questionable for Friday's game against the Nets, Doug Smith of the Toronto Star reports.
EDGE Analysis
This comes as a bit of a surprise, but it still doesn't look like Wright will make his return to the floor Friday night. However, just the fact that the point guard is listed as questionable is surely an encouraging sign for his progress. Wright, who is considered day-to-day, will likely need to put together a full practice or two before he can be made active, but it appears as though he is very close to playing again.

Wright (shoulder) has begun participating in 3-on-3 work but remains without a timetable for return, Ryan Wolstat of the Toronto Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
Wright has been on the shelf since mid-November with a dislocated right shoulder but appears to be making steady progress. He began shooting last week and is now able to partake in some more high-intensity drills. He'll need to put in a few full practices before he's able to return to the court.

Wright (shoulder) has progressed to shooting, but remains without a concrete timetable for a return, Josh Lewenberg of TSN Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Wright dislocated his shoulder in mid-November, but was able to avoid surgery and was expected to miss around a month or so of action. It's been roughly two weeks since that original timetable was provided, so it appears Wright is progressing well considering he was able to put up some shots already Monday. The Raptors should provide more updates as Wright ups his participation in practice and his next step will likely be more individual drills, followed by contact. Fred Van Vleet should continue to serve as the backup point guard until Wright is cleared.

Wright (shoulder) visited a specialist Wednesday to address his shoulder injury. It was determined that no surgery is required, though Wright still remains without a timetable for return.
EDGE Analysis
Wright dislocated his right shoulder during Nov. 15's game against the Pelicans -- the same shoulder he had surgery on in Aug. of 2016 after sustaining an injury in summer league. While it was determined that he doesn't need surgery this time around, the recovery time is still cloudy. He had been providing a nice spark off the pine for the Raptors, seeing 20.9 minutes per game and posting 7.6 points and 2.6 rebounds while shooting over 50 percent from the field. In Wright's stead, Fred VanVleet will seemingly continue to garner addition run. Over the past three contests, VanVleet is garnering 21.0 minutes and posting 9.0 points and 3.3 assists per game while shooting 47.6 percent from the field.
