Wright (knee) is not expected to return in the regular season, Ronald Tillery of The Commercial Appeal reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Grizzlies were unable to update the status of Wright on Monday, but they also weren't ready to rule him out of their upcoming playoff campaign either. Chris Andersen, JaMychal Green, Ryan Hollins, and Zach Randolph will continue to split time at center during the duration of Wright's stint on the bench.

Wright (knee) is progressing as anticipated in his rehab and will be reevaluated within a few days.
EDGE Analysis
The Grizzlies initially hoped Wright would only be sidelined for one-to-two weeks when he was diagnosed with a sprained right MCL back in late February, but he's now been out for just over three weeks. Though he's endured no setbacks in his recovery, the team is now indicating there's no formal timetable for Wright's return. More clarity on a return date could arrive when he's reevaluated later this week.

Wright (knee) has been diagnosed with a Grade 1 right MCL sprain and may only miss one-to-two weeks with the injury, Jeff Zillgitt of USA Today reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Grizzlies are still labeling Wright as out indefinitely and though his injury isn't as severe as feared, the recovery timetable for Grade 1 sprains often varies for players, so one-to-two weeks for a return may be a best-case scenario. Wright had only played five games for the Grizzlies since returning from arthroscopic surgery on the same knee, which could prompt the team to exercise even more caution than usual with the big man. While Wright's chances of returning at some point before season's end appear promising, his absence for any length of time still hurts the Grizzlies' depth at center, as Marc Gasol (foot) has been lost for the season. Expect JaMychal Green to take over Wright's spot in the starting lineup at center, while Chris Andersen and Zach Randolph will also be asked to cover more minutes at the position.

Wright (knee) has been diagnosed with a MCL sprain in his right knee, and will be out indefinitely, Ronald Tillery of The Commercial Appeal reports.
EDGE Analysis
Wright will not need surgery, but it is likely that he will be out for at least a few weeks while he rehabs the sprained MCL. He went knee-to-knee with Ronnie Price on Saturday while starting in place of an injured Marc Gasol (foot). With Wright likely out for a considerable amount of time, look for JaMychal Green to replace him in the lineup.

Wright left Saturday night's game against Phoenix with a right-knee injury, Ronald Tillery of the Memphis Commercial Appeal reports.
EDGE Analysis
Wright got the worst end of the deal when he banged knees with the Suns Ronnie Price and required help going to the locker room. He had started his second straight game and was getting a healthy dose of playing time since the Grizzlies lost Marc Gasol (foot) for the season. If Wright is to miss time, JaMychal Green would seem to be the immediate beneficiary of playing time.

Wright will draw the start Friday versus the Lakers, Grizzlies' play-by-play announcer Eric Hasseltinereports.
EDGE Analysis
This start comes somewhat as a surprise considering the Grizzlies have seemed content going with JaMychal Green at center, but they may want to see what wright can provide. He is coming off a solid performance against the Lakers posting 15 points, six rebounds, one assist, and two blocks in 22 minutes. The center situation in Memphis will have to be monitored going forward.

Wright recorded 15 points (7-10 FG, 1-4 FT), six rebounds, two blocks, and one assist in 22 minutes during the Grizzlies' 128-119 victory versus the Lakers on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Wright has scored in double figures twice through 10 contests with the Grizzlies this season, and he continues to work his way into game shape after missing most of 2015-16 due to knee surgery. Wright displayed some real chemistry with Mike Conley, who connected with the big man on some nice dives to the basket for easy buckets. Still, even though the team lacks much talent at center minus Marc Gasol (foot), Wright will have to work hard and play well in order to earn heavy minutes.

Wright (knee) recorded six points (3-4 FG), two rebounds, and one steal across 17 minutes during the Grizzlies' 109-104 victory versus the Timberwolves on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Wright saw limited minutes as expected since he is working himself back into game shape. Once his conditioning is up to speed, it likely won't be abnormal to see him hurdle 20 minutes per game. However, JaMychal Green played extremely well in Friday's start, and with Chris Andersen and Ryan Hollins in the mix for minutes at center as well, Wright will be hard-pressed to make much impact in fantasy.

Wright (knee) will have his playing time restricted while he works himself into game shape, Ronald Tillery of the Commercial Appeal reports.
EDGE Analysis
Wright returns to action on Friday for the first time since Nov. 7, and unsurprisingly, his minutes will be limited. Grizzlies' coach Dave Joerger will likely still resort to using Zach Randolph at center some now that Marc Gasol (foot) has been lost for the season, but going forward Wright figures to split the available time at center with Ryan Hollins and the recently acquired Chris Andersen. Wright might offer the most upside among those three long-term, but he's still unlikely to hold much value outside of deeper leagues.

Wright (knee) will be available for Friday's game against the Timberwolves, Ronald Tillery of the Memphis Commercial Appeal reports.
EDGE Analysis
Wright has been sidelined since mid-December following arthroscopic surgery on his right knee, but his impending return couldn't come at a more convenient time for the Grizzlies, who could be without Marc Gasol for the rest of the season with a broken foot. While Wright won't necessarily step in the starting lineup at center Friday, he's expected to eventual outpace the likes of Ryan Hollins, Chris Andersen, and JaMychal Green for minutes at the position, while allowing Zach Randolph to spend most of his time at his more familiar power forward position. Wright has never shown much offensive prowess during his career, but his strong field-goal percentage to go along with his steady contributions in the blocks and rebounds categories could make him worth a speculative roster add in deeper leagues.
