Wright (knee) could be available to return following the All-Star break, Ronald Tillery of the Commercial Appeal reports.
EDGE Analysis
Wright underwent arthroscopic surgery mid-December, but is now projected to be just a week or so away from being available to play, which falls in line with his original six-to-eight week recovery timetable. We'll likely have to wait for further updates later in the week, but at the least, it's clear that Wright is almost ready to play. As soon as he returns to the court, it could mean a slight decrease in minutes for the likes of Jeff Green and JaMychal Green.

Wright (knee) will undergo arthroscopic surgery Thursday, which will keep him out for 6-to-8 weeks, Chris Vernon of 92.9 FM ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
The North Carolina product signed as a free agent this offseason and was expected to be a key contributor off the bench for one of the league's better frontcourts, but he's been battling discomfort in the knee for the better part of the season and hasn't played since early November. Wright's continued absence means JaMychal Green and Jeff Green should each continue to pick up extra minutes, and it's possible the struggling Grizzlies could attempt to make a move to add depth at the forward spot. Assuming the 6-to-8-week timetable holds up, Wright should be back on the court sometime in late January or early February.

Wright (knee) still has no timetable for return, according to Memphis general manager Chris Wallace, Peter Edimiston of the Commercial Appeal reports.
EDGE Analysis
Wright hasn't played since the beginning of November, and the seriousness of his injury has caused much uncertainty about his return during the 2015-16 season. With Wright out, Zach Randolph and Marc Gasol will continue to see increased roles, along with reserve power forward Jeff Green.

Wright (knee) will be out a while, according to Ronald Tillery of the Memphis Commercial Appeal.
EDGE Analysis
The team says the extent of his injury is not yet known, but that it is not just tendinitis. It sounds like Wright is week-to-week at this point, which will mean heavy minutes for Zach Randolph and Marc Gasol, with Jeff Green getting more run at the four.

Wright (knee) will not play Wednesday against the Warriors, Peter Fleischer of FOX 13 in Memphis reports.
EDGE Analysis
Wright will miss his second straight game after injuring his knee against the Jazz over the weekend. With new additions Mario Chalmers and James Ennis also sitting out, the Grizzlies will be a bit shorthanded as they take on the undefeated, defending champions.

Wright (knee) is unlikely to play Monday against the Clippers, Ronald Tillery of the Commercial Appeal reports.
EDGE Analysis
Wright was questionable to play Monday after suffering a knee injury Saturday and he's now considered doubtful to play. Whether he plays or not his injury should not be considered severe and he should be back soon.

Wright (knee) is questionable for Monday's game against the Clippers, Peter Fleischer of FOX13 Memphis reports.
EDGE Analysis
Wright injured in knee in the Grizzlies' last game Saturday, and it remains to be seen if the setback will cost him any further action. Wright is dealing only with soreness in his knee, so he should not be facing a long-term absence even if he is unable to go Monday

Wright posted 10 points (4-5 FG, 2-7 FT) to go with six rebounds, three assists, and four blocks in 28 minutes of action Tuesday against the Kings.
EDGE Analysis
Wright saw extended minutes due to Marc Gasol's (neck) injury, and could be in line for a larger role if Gasol misses time. While he doesn't provide much in the scoring department, Wright has the ability to rebound and block shots in limited minutes. Consider him a short-term option in deeper leagues, and a potential daily contest budget play while Gasol is out.

Wright scored seven points (3-6 FG, 1-2 FT) to go along with six rebounds, an assist, and two blocks Monday in the Grizzlies' loss to the Warriors.
EDGE Analysis
Wright actually played more than starter Zach Randolph, although that could have been a result of the Grizzlies resting their main power forward after a rough night in a blowout loss. Despite what would normally look like a merely ok stat line, the 28-year-old actually was second on the team in rebounds and fourth in points. Wright should continue to see solid playing time as long as he can continue being consistent in putting up decent numbers.
