Wright was away from the team during Friday's 104-100 loss to the Mavericks to tend to a personal matter.
EDGE Analysis
Wright also missed two games at the end of February for personal reasons. It's not clear if he'll be back with the Grizzlies in time for Saturday's game against the Rockets, so in the event he remains out, Zach Randolph figures to see most of the backup minutes at center behind starter Marc Gasol.

Wright totaled nine points (4-6 FG, 1-2 FT), five rebounds and one assist across 17 minutes during a 130-112 win over the Suns on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Wright (personal) returned to the court after a two-game absence and received his normal workload. Wright hasn't played much this season due to injury, but he was a solid bench player over the course of February when he was on floor, with averages of 7.3 points on 57.8 percent shooting, 3.0 rebounds and 0.8 blocks per game in the month. Barring any more setbacks, look for him to build slightly on those numbers to close out the season.

Wright is set to return to action Tuesday against the Suns, Peter Fleischer of Fox 13 in Memphis reports.
EDGE Analysis
Wright missed the last two games while tending to a personal issue, but he's no longer listed on the injury report and should return to his regular role Tuesday. Over his last six games, Wright has played between 12 and 21 minutes as he continues to solidify his spot in the rotation after missing the first three months of the season following ankle surgery.

Wright has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Pacers.
EDGE Analysis
It doesn't sound like something that will keep him out for long, so there's a good chance he's back in the lineup prior to Sunday's game against the Nuggets. That said, for the duration of his absence, the Grizzlies could go with more small ball with Zach Randolph working as the team's backup center, while Deyonta Davis could potentially jump into the rotation as well.

Wright tallied 17 points (7-9 FG, 3-3 FT), three rebounds, one assist and one steal across 21 minutes in Monday's 112-103 victory over the Nets.
EDGE Analysis
In just his seventh game played on the season, Wright came alive Monday night and produced starter's numbers off the Grizzlies bench. In just 21 minutes he was able to get nine shots off, showing that he isn't shying away from opportunities when they are given to him. In a crowded frontcourt that consists of Marc Gasol, Zach Randolph, and Jeff Green, it could be hard for him to find consistent minutes to be productive on a nightly basis.

Updating a previous note, Wright will come off of the bench for Saturday's tilt against the Timberwolves.
EDGE Analysis
It was originally reported that Wright would draw the start at center, but Zach Randolph ended up getting the nod before tipoff. Wright could still see bigger minutes than usual off the bench with Marc Gasol (rest) out.

Wright will start in Saturday's contest against the Wolves, Kent Youngblood of the Star Tribune reports.
EDGE Analysis
With Marc Gasol (rest) out, Wright will draw the start at center. Wright has played a total of 10 minutes this season after returning from an ankle injury, but should be in line for a much bigger workload Saturday.

Wright (ankle) played five minutes in Monday's 115-96 win over the Suns, producing six points (3-5 FG) and two rebounds.
EDGE Analysis
It seems as though Wright was chomping at the bit to get back on the court in his season debut, as the center saw a surprisingly high usage rate during his limited time on the court. As expected, the Grizzlies didn't ask him to play too many minutes following a long recovery process from a November left ankle procedure, but Wright won't stand to gain an abundance of playing time while Marc Gasol is healthy. Look for Wright to eventually settle into a 15-minute-per-game role once he's regained full conditioning.

Wright (ankle) has been cleared to play "a few minutes" during Monday's matchup against the Suns, Rob Fischer of FOX Sports Southeast reports.
EDGE Analysis
After spending all season recovering from surgery, Wright is available to make his season debut Monday. From what it sounds like, it seems probable that he won't eclipse ten minutes, as the Grizzlies will want to ease him back into shape. Once he's fully cleared for regular minutes, he'll likely serve as the primary backup to Marc Gasol, and should hover around the 15-to-20 minute per game mark.
