Wright (ankle) has been ruled out for Tuesday's game against the Nuggets.
EDGE Analysis
Wright continues to recover from tendinitis in his left ankle, which has prevented him from taking court since the start of training camp. The Grizzlies have mostly refrained from commenting on the situation, so the veteran should continue to be considered questionable to play on a day-to-day basis.

Wright (ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against Portland.
EDGE Analysis
Wright has been battling tendinitis in his ankle since training camp and is yet to make his regular season debut. The team has been handling Wright on a day-to-day basis, and that will likely continue to be the case for the foreseeable future. Wright's next chance to play will come Tuesday when the Grizzlies host the Nuggets.

Wright (ankle) will be reevaluated in 10 days.
EDGE Analysis
Wright was already ruled out for Wednesday's season opener, but he's now expected to miss at least another 10 days before being reevaluated. If that timetable holds true, Wright could miss the next five games before potentially being available for a Nov. 4 matchup with the Jazz. Jarell Martin (foot) and Deyonta Davis could see additional minutes off the bench behind Marc Gasol until Wright is available for a return, while Zach Randolph may shift over to center as well if need be.

Wright (ankle) has been ruled out of Wednesday's regular season opener against the Timberwolves, Michael Wallace of Grizzlies.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Wright missed the final three games of the preseason schedule, as he continues to work his way back from an ankle injury. He'll open the season on the sidelines, but could be in line for an increased role once healthy, as Marc Gasol expects to see his minutes limited during the early portions of the 2016-17 campaign. Jarell Martin is dealing with a foot injury of his own and his status for the opener remains in question as well, so rookie Deyonta Davis could see some early time at center behind Gasol.

Wright (ankle) has been ruled out for Wednesday's preseason finale against the Timberwolves, Michael Wallace of Grizzlies.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Wright has missed the previous two games with the ankle injury, and it appears as though the Grizzlies are being cautious with the big man in hopes that he will be healthy for the start of the regular season. With fellow forwards Jarell Martin and Chandler Parsons also ruled out and Deyonta Davis listed as questionable, expect JaMychal Green and Zach Randolph to take on majority of the minutes in the frontcourt Wednesday.

Wright (ankle) sat out Thursday's 110-94 win over the Thunder.
EDGE Analysis
It was the second straight absence for Wright, who is battling a left ankle injury. The Grizzlies appear to be viewing it as a day-to-day concern, but it's uncertain if Wright will be available for the team's next contest Saturday against the Rockets.

Wright will miss Tuesday's preseason game against the Sixers due to a left ankle injury, Tim MacMahon of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
It's unclear exactly when the injury occurred, but Wright was seen in a walking boot, which is a bit concerning for his availability moving forward. It's also a tough blow for the Grizzlies, who are lacking healthy bodies in the frontcourt with Jarell Martin (foot), Chandler Parsons (knee) and Deyonta Davis (foot) all missing time with injuries of their own. With that said, we should see Wright's status updated again in the coming few days, which will give us a better indication of a potential timetable for a return.

Wright returned to action Monday against the Magic, playing for the first time since undergoing arthroscopic knee surgery early last season and finishing with 10 points (4-6 FG) and two rebounds in 19 minutes.
EDGE Analysis
Wright was expected to be a key bench contributor last season but was limited to only 12 games, in which he averaged 6.9 points, 3.6 rebounds and 1.3 blocks per game. Now back healthy, Wright will back up Marc Gasol at center and also see time at power forward when Zach Randolph is on the bench.

Wright (knee) has been fully cleared for the opening of Grizzlies' training camp. In regards to his status, Wright said, "I'm feeling good and trending upward. I'm looking forward to camp and getting ready to go. I'll be on the court for training camp. Obviously with any injury, you don't want to spike too early. We'll work our way into it, but I'll be a full go."
EDGE Analysis
Back in April, Wright indicated he was just weeks away from being 100 percent healthy, so Wednesday's announcement of his full availability for training camp comes as little surprise. Wright should be fully healthy heading into the regular season and expects to act as the team's backup center behind Marc Gasol. Wright finished his 2015-16 campaign with averages of 6.9 points, 3.6 rebounds and 1.3 blocks over 18 minutes per game and could find some additional value if Gasol has any sort of early season trouble with the broken foot he suffered in early February.

Wright (knee) said Monday that he's weeks away from being 100 percent healthy, Ronald Tillery of The Memphis Commercial Appeal reports.
EDGE Analysis
Wright underwent arthroscopic right knee surgery in December and only played five games upon returning in February before he was shut down for the rest of the season after suffering an MCL sprain in the same knee. The Grizzlies were initially optimistic that Wright would return to the court after February's injury, but it sounds like the recovery process has dragged on far longer than anticipated. Nonetheless, Wright is still on track to be healthy by the time training camp begins. He's in line to serve as the team's top backup at center behind Marc Gasol (foot).
