Wright tallied 11 points (5-7 FG, 1-2 FT), nine rebounds, an assist, a steal, and a block over 26 minutes in Friday's 86-76 loss to the Magic.
EDGE Analysis
Wright put in a strong effort in his final tune-up before the regular season and looks like a solid offseason addition by the Grizzlies. The nine boards were particularly encouraging, and marked the second time in the exhibition slate that Wright has reached that figure. Wright has proven capable of providing occasional offense and solid rebounding in past opportunities, and would appear to be a very capable backup to Marc Gasol entering the regular season.

Wright has averaged 9.0 points (57.1 FG, 0.0 3Pt, 100.0 FT), 7.5 rebounds, 0.5 assists, 1.0 steal, and 1.5 blocks in 20 minutes per game through two preseason contests with the Grizzlies.
EDGE Analysis
The versatile big man won't have a lead role so long as the Grizzlies are employing Marc Gasol and Zach Randolph, but Wright's versatility puts him in the discussion for backup minutes at both center and forward. He's not going to sink three-pointers, but apart from that he's a capable contributor across the board. Still, he's unlikely to hold much value outside of deeper leagues unless an injury to Gasol or Randolph occurs.

Wright agreed to a three-year, $18 million contract with the Grizzlies on Wednesday, Yahoo! Sports reports.
The addition of Wright further solidifies the Grizzlies' frontcourt depth at both power forward and center, the latter of which is expected to be manned by Marc Gasol once the two parties agree to a deal. In his stints with the Mavericks, Celtics, and Suns last season, Wright averaged 7.3 points (on 64 percent shooting), 4.3 rebounds, 1.3 blocks, and 0.7 steals in 19 minutes.

Wright was traded from Dallas to Boston, and then eventually traded to Phoenix, where he finished the rest of the regular season. In 40 regular season games with the Suns he averaged 7.0 points, 0.6 assists, 4.9 rebounds, 0.8 steals, and 1.2 blocks in 22 minutes per game in 2014-15. He will be an unrestricted free agent this summer.
Unfortunately for Wright's travel agent, the 27-year-old big man was involved in two trades that saw him play for three different teams in one season. Furthermore, he is a free agent this summer, meaning he could be moving once again. Wright wasn't able to find a consistent role in 2014-15, due to moving around so much, but he showed flashes of productivity while filling in for an injured Alex Len. The power forward hopes to land a more stable job for the 2015-16 season.

Wright (foot) will not play in Tuesday's season finale against the Clippers, Paul Coro of the Arizona Republic reports.
Wright sat out Sunday against the Spurs due to soreness in his foot, and he'll miss the final game of the season Tuesday. With the Suns out of the playoff chase, the team really has no reason to put him on the court unless he's 100 percent. In his absence Sunday, the Suns went small with the Morris twins and P.J. Tucker at the forward spots.

Wright is dealing with a sore foot and won't play against the Spurs on Sunday, The Arizona Republic reports.
Wright should be considered day-to-day ahead of Tuesday's finale against the Clippers, while Earl Barron likely sees added playing time.

Wright made his second straight start in place of Alex Len (nose) on Saturday, scoring 14 points (6-10 FG, 2-4 FT) with three rebounds, one assists, three steals and four blocks in 33 minutes.
As long as Len is out, Wright is going to have significant fantasy value, and aside from his efficiency, Wright has been a superb source of defensive numbers, averaging 1.1 steals and 1.6 blocks over the past month, in 26 minutes per game.

Wright stepped into a larger role Tuesday with Alex Len (nose) out, and recorded a double-double. He had 16 points (6-12 FG, 4-6 FT) to go along with 12 rebounds, two blocks and two steals in 28 minutes.
This was the first time Wright had scored in double figures in six games and played above his average 20 minutes per game that he's been seeing with the Suns. However, expect his numbers to drop off when Len returns. In 68 games off the bench this season with three different teams, Wright is averaging just 6.7 points, 1.1 blocks and 3.8 rebounds per game.

Wright will step into a larger role over the next week as Alex Len (nose) sits out.
The Suns announced Wednesday afternoon that Len will miss at least a week after breaking his nose against Portland on Tuesday. Wright has proven to be effective when given a chance, and he recently averaged 17.0 points, 9.5 rebounds and 3.5 blocks in 37.5 minutes during Len's two-game absence in mid-March.

Wright could become an interesting player to add if Alex Len (broken nose) has to miss any games.
Wright stepped into the starting lineup when Len was sidelined almost two weeks ago, and Wright averaged 17.0 points, 9.5 rebounds, and 3.5 blocks in 38 minutes per game in those contests. His value is largely contingent on whether or not Len plays, so only stream Wright into standard leagues or for daily games if Len gets ruled out.
